disc have better collisions for folding gear, but absolutely horrible traction and wheel performance on voxels/grids

sphere colliders act more like vanilla wheels, smooth on ground and grids

I cant see any info in the description an this probably has been asked before, but whats the preferred option for Aircraft landing suspension, disc or sphere collision? and why are there two options?

putting them in a sealed compartment is the exact opposite of that

put air paths where needed, just let it breathe

they need to be connected to the conveyor system where the thruster is as well

Then where exactly am I supposed to put the intakes? I put them inside the plane, set them to depressurize. Doesn't work, even though the room is pressurized. I put them outside the plane, still doesn't work even with the depressurized option on. How exactly do these work??

I am using the jet intakes. I have put them into an area with plenty of room pressure for it to use and no matter what I do, even if I add the hydrogen tanks in your mod and set some to stockpile and some to not, the jet thrusters still don't work no matter how many intakes I use. No matter what I do, I cannot find any way of getting them to work.

Pretty good mod but for some reason the jet engines require a ridiculous amount of oxygen that I thus cannot make operable in small jets. Is it possible for a version of the jet thrusters that doesn't require oxygen?

you also need to seal the block area above the sideplates. the canopies only occupy one block space, not the sides

Hey Consty, not sure if this is intentional but I've noticed the canopy side plates cannot be used to make an airtight cockpit. In particular, the standard canopy side plate and the sound block variant produce air leaks in the cockpit. Can you update these?

Figured out the problem, apparently I needed to stick this mod at the top of the modlist for it to work, because as soon as I did that, it worked.

And yes they have intakes connected, the intakes are set to depressurize, as far as can be gleamed by the block descriptions is all that needs doing, doesn't provide enough o2 for the jets to work, if there's something I'm missing, then it certainly isn't in the block descriptions, as far as I'm aware I don't have any mods that mess with how gas works.

Note: While typing this I tested in world that only had this mod and the thrusters worked meaning there's a conflict somewhere, now the question is what is the conflict

After doing a bit of testing it seems that the jet engines take so much oxygen that they never turn on because there is no way to provide that much o2, hell, they don't even need to be conveyored to the same system as any o2 tanks and they'll be drained in seconds, thus making the jet engines useless as there's no way to get any thrust power out of them, and no turning the engines off doesn't prevent them eating any and all oxygen on the craft either so the can't be used for decor.

Hey Consty, reposting this here in case it was missed in the bug report section. I realized that only the small jet engine fails to play the idle engine spooling sounds. The medium sized variant works fine.

Digging deeper into the mod files, I found an issue in CAPJetHydrogenEngine.sbc

The issue is with the following line:

<SilenceableByShipSoundSystem>true</SilenceableByShipSoundSystem>

Removing that line completely eliminated the bug with small jet engines. I also noticed that this string was not present in the defnitions for the medium jet engine, which explained why those were still playing the sound correctly.

Any chance you can push out an update of the mod including this correction?

I'm not sure if it's just my mods/settings but the 25/30ton helicopter rotors seem to have a few problems. The 25 ton can actually lift around 27 (metric) tons. But the 30 ton 6 bladed rotor can't seem to lift 30. Any thoughts?

Can you post a version of this without the wing blocks, the blocks in this pack are very nice for self made cockpits but the server I was planning on suggesting it to already has Takeshi's wing mod, have a good day!

anyone know why if i put a jet engine on it just drains the 02 fast asf and jet never turns on and even when its off the o2 drains fast asf

I've fixed it. I've spend literally half of a day fixing it and the solution came upon me completely random. The problem was a miniature projection of my ship on a console block. I don't know if thats a known error with your mod.

I don't know why, but since today my game is constantly crashing because of a (large) ship of mine and your mod. This ship has literally nothing to do with your mod (no blocks from it at all), but when I try to spawn it in or move up to it when it's already there, the game crashes. When I remove the mod the bug seems to be fixed. Really strange...

Could you make more variants of the flight surfaces? and I would also like to have wings angled up or down at the wingtips, like the wings of the HE-162 for example.

Hey there, I'm putting together a Battlestar Galactica themed server and was wondering if I could reupload (with credit, of course) the landing gear and fighter hud/seat? How does the E-2 radar dish work? It says in the description it can increase lock on range but doe sit only apply that to the plane or can it give that data to other planes?
