Conflicts with auto drink, auto eat, and save character mod. It removes their icons from player status window disabling the ability to toggle them on or off or to save the character.

@Champy Add an elite explorer trait. and make it so when you reach that threashhold this one goes off.

1 point?! This should totally be a 2 or 3 point skill. A 1 point skill that improves your map is too powerful because no duh you're going to pick the explorer trait every time it's too good. Especially if you add extra sight to it in the sandbox. Not to mention the foraging buff. Yes it's a minor buff, but so does the trait hearty appetite buff foraging by 3%, which is another no brainer trait to pick because it's amazing. A 2/3 point skill is still pretty cheap, but it does make you consider getting it or not because those 2/3 points could go elsewhere. Otherwise great mod <3

Also, a question, uhm, you set the default reveal radius to 90, but what was it for the vanilla map? 80? 70? 60? I just want to know how much you changed it by since google isn't helping me much.

i had a mental break yesterday when this character save issue appeared. idk why it happened, but removing this mod worked. gonna try readding it but disabling dynamic like it was stated a few comments back

Yeah my last save has been ruined by this save issue, Each time i was reconnecting my chara was stuck on the road to home missing xp gain from after this period, world time was normal but chara was really block here
I tought it was a map issue, deleted all workshop maps ect
But now i see that it might be this mod, i will test my save further see if this is fix or not.

P.S.: it's only dynamic part that was having issues. As always, trait itself is working fine. Disabling dynamic option in sandbox is all you need in case of any new issues arising.

Should be solved*. Tested in SP and MP, it should keep data under the overflow limit.
By the way, update should fix older saves too, so if you had your save where issues were cuz of this mod, you can enable it back. Just make sure to wait a bit with exploring, mod is removing some of its old data every 10 in-game minutes.

Updated. Should now work in Multiplayer as well as Singleplayer, and data overflow issues have been solved thanks to @MusicManiac's work.

Solved the issue, now modData will keep info only about 10 last tiles, instead of all possible. For reference, modData was overflowing when it was around 80+ cells. I'll see how I can polish it tomorrow morning, expect update somewhere tomorrow day. Will be working both in SP and MP

Working on a fix, was finally able to catch the issue. After update will be working both in SP and MP. Issue is with limited modData that we can use as modders.

Just dropping by to say I just got this player database error on a new character (started tonight). It def has something to do with this mod, although I cannot say for certain if it is specifically the dynamic part of it (likely if I had to guess rn) or if there is some mod incompatibility going on.

I can say pretty confidently it is not customizable containers. The mod author of that one is pretty adamant that he already removed any code that would have caused this issue back in november when it happened.

The good news is there is a fix! For the players at least, disable the explorer trait mod and you can continue your save(unknown if this will save server/server players). Will probably post more later. I'd like to help track down the issue.

Dynamic part of the mod should be good to go in SP. Non-dynamic part (aka trait itself) is working as intended ion both SP and MP

I just did a test run from Rosewood to OTR, took me 30 min of driving around cuz i wasn't going shortest way, and didn't have any errors. I'd need your character files and error logs to see what's up, could you join this discord and contact me via it? https://discord.com/invite/8pBN5Ccm7z

Also it purges specifically ONLY this mod data and ONLY if you load character in MP, that is 100%.

I think the data purge is affecting single player, twice now I've taken a character from Rosewood to OTR military base, and about halfway there I start getting a ton of errors (from 2 to 400+). When I reach the military base and save/quit out, upon loading back in my character is reverted to the area right before the error spike & with a different inventory.

Looks like the players.db last save was an hour and a half before the rest of the world saved on exit. Maybe however the dynamic system is tracking cells explored is having issues with large amounts as I travel across the map?

Ok, got a fix up. Dynamic part of the mod will not work in MP. I added code to ensure dynamic part doesn't run in MP. Additionally, I added data purge (only this mod data) for existing characters if they are MP. Which means you should get your characters working again. However, they will be rolled back a bit, depending on when was the last time mod successfully got proper data transfer with this mod enabled. Basically, everyone who was getting this error will have characters rolled back. I am not sure what exactly will be rolled back. Can be anything from player position to items in inventory and skills levels. This is as much of damage control as I can do, and it's better than losing character completely.

Mod will be updated when main mod author is online, I can't update mod, only original uploader can. I'll update mod description shortly.

Aw man, server-client data transfer is a bitch. Yea, dynamic option apparently will only work on single-player. I'll make some adjustments to the code to make sure code is ran only when you play single-player. My apologies, my fault.

Fully tested in MP and so far it can break a save.
Due to FATAL ERROR: The player XXXX cannot be saved.

Confirmed by comparing my logs to various other logs from players in my own dedicated MP server.

Even confirmed in the following discussion from "Customizable Containers" mod where me and others thought it was that mod, but we confirmed it is this one.
