Great map! Fun and intuitive. I'd love to see more.

ok. i am sick and tired that the map does NOT show up in my user maps

Oh, that's the problem. I'm using a controller so there's no hotkey for it on my controller. I just ran out of shrinker shots and it said I had no ammo for it, but when switching to a different gun it magically said I had ammo for the expander. Weird design. Guess I'm more used to the N64 version that actually separates the two into two different slots.

To switch from shrinker to expander, just press the weapon's key again ("7" by default)

I didn't have much trouble with this map and I'm a very sloppy player. Missed like, maybe ten shots with that damn skrinker. I don't really know how to switch it from shrinker to expander though. Is there some trick to it? Anyways, this map IS pretty tough, but if you brind your A game, aim true, dodge well, pick your weapon wisely, you can get through it. Not bad. Gets a bit easier once you have a little bit of ammo. Although two pipebombs is a little skimpy when you NEED to blow up that one spot but... other than that it's pretty doable. Nothing game breaking or crazy hard.

Updated the map a last time : Added an in-game QR Code (by Mike Norvak) at the very end of the map before the Nukebutton.

To PointsOfXP : You have the shrinker with enough ammo, and just before the pigcops there is a pistol, too.
There is also a hidden shotgun in a secret place somewhere before that.
PointsOfXP 6 Jul, 2014 @ 5:26am
There is absolutly no way to play this map without a super weapon. I cant even get past the first few pigs.

When I made the first trailer I didn't know for certain how many mappers would have finished their maps so it was an estimate; which is why the final version has "one map less".
In reality, a total of 4 mappers didn't finish their maps.

just curious but. was this that map that didn't make it on time for the mod? cause originally there was gonna be 18 maps before it became 17

You can also search the ID number I gave.

UPDATE : COOP should work now. If you had already subscribed to the map before the update and want to play it in COOP, you have to do the following :
-Go to your folder Steam\SteamApps\common\Duke Nukem 3D\gameroot\workshop\maps
-Delete folder 276157640 (which is the ID of this map)
-Subscribe to the map again

Other minor glitches also fixed.
mxrtxn 29 Jun, 2014 @ 11:15am
Yes I mean COOP... sorry...
Ness  [author] 29 Jun, 2014 @ 7:03am
To mxrtxn : there is no DM in this map, it's SP and COOP.
Or did you mean COOP?
mxrtxn 28 Jun, 2014 @ 4:44pm
Beautiful map. Just played it! I see it more for single player than DM

Duke Hard as a whole is pretty damn great. There are tons and tons of great mods and map map packs only supported by EDuke32. It's well worth downloading.
Ness  [author] 27 Jun, 2014 @ 7:40am
The COOP starts will be fixed very soon guys; it's just that we want to add another (tiny but cool) detail at the end of the map and might as well do a single update rather than 2.

I liked this one, yeah good job and nice details that make sense, with non giant doors (i can actually reach handles 0i0). Great gameplay and design is even better. It's time to make tracks :footprint:
Forge  [author] 26 Jun, 2014 @ 12:11pm
i used mapster that comes with eduke32.

Thanks MrRumbleRoses, we'll have a look at that

This episode had some really good maps and a few not so good. This episode had some amazing mapping detail, but also some maps with poor gameplay. Map 3 - 6 - 8 - 9 - 13 were the best imo, while map 5 was just horrible in every way and 12 - 14 had really bad gameplay but looked good. The rest of the maps i didn't mention were good too.
