When using this in single player, I get eaten by zombies before it's done loading. In debug mode I just get errors. Could you possibly add an invisibility cheat for the character as soon as the loading starts?

Is this somehow tied to game time? bc Im playing a singleplayer game(set to real time), let it run OVERNIGHT while I went to bed and came back and almost none of the map had been revealed--and this is one the fastest setting.

@Lu5ck It only makes sense for mods that need to do the loadgridsquare once, this way you can load most parts of the map and then disable the mods.

@Kroma What you are describing is exactly my use case for creating this mod. But you need to actually use this mod for loading the areas, and then you can uninstall the mods once you have loaded all the regions with this one with the special mods that needs area to be loaded (like barricaded workd). Once everything is loaded you can uninstall this mod and the barricaded world (or any other you wanted to used on load grid square actions).

Does this work for local hosting ?
I created a MP game, preloaded the map, but when i restarted the local server without the mod barricated world, every barricade disapeared after moving from the spawn location.

I assume what this mod does is automate force loading of grid by teleporting yourself, the admin, to all the different grids. This will then trigger LoadGridsquare functions. However, this doesn't necessary improve performance as not all mods use LoadGridsquare function the same way as each other.

Honestly, I think this mod only make sense for mods like "Udderly Vehicle Respawn" where you only need to have it triggered once every now and then.

mmap on my own online server,when I click to view the map, I no longer see the colored buildings, the colored residences, there is total blank on the map
I just think the option to reveal the map is disabled, but where ?
I searched in the FTP files, the data, the files, mods installed, everywhere, lua folder, script, maps, but I can't reveal the map I see like a white fog
can anyone help me?

Well. Of course as soon as I post I seem to find the solution ;o) I had set the time to "realtime" to avoid eating up days in-game to generate the map. Now it's teleporting and scanning as expected.

I had previously used this with success but since we added new vehicles I wanted to reload some chunks. I deleted them using an online tool which did the trick. I went in admin and confirmed it had regenerated... But now using this tool the time seem to accelerate (moving clouds) but the character is not being teleported/looking around. Any way to fix this?

where's the pre load all button, it's split up by maps now? now It's too much of a hassle to use this. I'd get why It's split up, but give us an option for loading all of it if we want too on top of them.

Seems like no matter what I do, once this mod is done pre-loading an area, my character hangs in a blank void and then the server crashes and the preloading doesn't save. Tried multiple times at different speeds and no luck.

As someone who likes to play from day 1 at the very start, but Also likes barricaded world, but doesn't like the performance impact it has, could I periodically load this + barricaded world, say while im sat in my base 1 month in, run this and barricaded world to benefit from the extra erosion, then disable them both? Is that a thing or am i dumb?

so this on a dedicated server with an admin will jump thru the areas and preload them? Is this preloading on the server so players won't need to live load?

Any settings that would help this mod run smoother, while on a dedicated server?
Such as reducing client Display(resolution/quality/etc.), the Server(.ini) or the Sandbox Settings?

Also,
If I Preload the map without zombie spawns, will they respawn in these areas after turning respawn on?

Just fyi, if the accessibility option "Resume normal speed when timed actions complete" is on, it will- believe it or not- go to normal speed after the first area load. At least, that's what happened for me. Unchecking the option made it function as intended (may be what happened to Praeliator).

I'd love it if there were a vanilla option to pre-generate the world, but absent that, this is amazing (and a clever workaround)

It would be really nice if we could "draw" a square on the map to generate that area. Is there maybe a way to pull from map symbols? I guess easy way would be to have custom coords provided by map makers. Alot of good maps are missing.

@Onkeen Yes, I also encountered this when I downloaded absolutely the entire map. Even before its expansion. But the option "Load all existing locations" in the principle can be added.

@Praeliator I checked and it worked in single player (with and without debug mode), you may need to be an admin in multiplayer for the game to allow teleportation.

@Michael_Rubanov Any modder should be able to check if this mod exists with the getActivatedMods() function and add their own loading section to the list. Additionally, I am looking for a way to trigger the loading from a menu similar to the foraging one but this is much more complicated than what I currently have. This would allow a free X and Y set of coordinates.

@magond I just tried, but I found out that it can cause the game crash after lodaing something like 20% of the map. So I think I will not make it part of the mod. Maybe it was too intense for it to load so much.

Did an update break this mod? When I press 'Load Region', my map just gets loaded but I don't move from my spot like the one shown in the video.
