Kandeye - It should be, All modes are the same, Just versus unless mod allowed, Might not allow it, But with valve updates, A lot of mods are suffering or not working at all, But i will say to un sub the mod, Then 1 - move your addons folder to desktop, 2 - uninstall the game, 3 delete the l4d2 left over game folder, 4 - re install the game, 5 - move the addoons folder where it was, 6 re sub the mod, 7 - play the game, Sometimes cleaning the game can help if you mod your game a lot, Like with sound mods, Re building the audio cache can fix audio bugs, See if this helps fix your issues, This method can also fix game performance too if you mod a lot too, See if this fixes your issue

Whenever I play online (not local server were you hosted it), the screen shake is still present sometimes when you fire alot. Can you fix it?

Did you really removed recoil for local servers? When I tested it, I felt like the bullet tracers are just an illusion of no recoil.

The mod sadly will only work on first person view, In spectating etc, There is nothing i don't think that can be done sorry, Is this in fps spectating or 3rd person spectating ?

i didn't say it clearly. when you're dead spectating.

3ggy - It wont, It's to do with valves mechanics, Like most or alot of mods, Thing will only work as valve intended to intentionally or otherwise, In this case it applies fullstop, I mean is it really that important if the screen shakes ? Better that it don't as it's kinda annoying lol

With valve constantly under miming peoples mods with stealth patches and updates, They could well be messing up peoples mods, I know some mods wont work, Some not quiet as good as before, I ll have a look into it, I finished some games i been wanted to catch up on atlast.

I can't seem to get it working on local servers am I doing anything wrong? I've tried it with sv_consistency 0 and still no change to the weapon screen shake and recoil.

It removes it's mostly, To completely remove it would need stripping , tweaking and recompiling otherwise, This was a simple alternative.

Scroll down to the 3rd comment, There is a simple guide explanation step by step there. Look for weapon recoil.

Xeno - This is a temp fix, In 3rd person there is no headbob if interested a guide with a few simple lines to be editied in the console once -

It gives a resident evil 4 over the sholder view and accuracy, To disable the gun recoil on the screen each gun file would need to be recompiled, as the thing needed is in there. I also have a link to a simple fix for first person view -

Removes the headbob with a simple bit of editing, hope for now one of these would help in the meanwhile.

How about only the no weapon shake only? I just felt like removing the recoil is cheating.
