hey i got a dumb question: i tried to use the the uncompiled version for editing and wanted to use custom loadouts instead of just the pistol. but everytime i try i cant choose any slot on my dedicated server. all the mods i use are working fine as i use them on other missions without issue and i tried it out without any altering and it worked without any issue. what do i wrong ? Ps: sorry for the bad english

No idea. I think they are planning an update soon, don't know why the mod is gone though.

The mission is intended to be unfair. "Randomly dying for no apparent reason" is most likely due to spook attacks. You can edit the source file to change spawn chances or items and remove unwanted spooks types.

Did a few runs. Guns spawn without ammo. Randomly dying for no apparent reason. Mission isn't working.

Why is this 4 stars? Am I missing something? I got all the required mods.

I think Arma has an engine limit of how many groups can be on a side. So try making big groups of looters. Each spook is its own group, but you can make them harder to kill in the spook modules.

@Drongo, is there a way to make this harder or another version thats the impossible mode?
i was messing around with my group, by adding in in another 4 slots and boosting up the number and everything but it was still decently easy.. also at the spawnrates we were running at, i belive we maxed out the spawn postions/ limit. we had loot = 200, looters = 300, looter bodies=200, spooks = 1000, rare spooks = 100, and very rare spooks =20 but it definatily did not feel like all the entities were spawning as requested

UPD: Apparently not, which is a bit sad, especially due of me not having majority of DLCs, it's hindering to play. Pistol is pretty fine, cuz ARMA 3, any gun kills here, but having modded guns to appear would be pretty neat too

Partially in or fully behind? Actually three suitcases spawn each mission to offset problems like this.

Check with the Cytech guys for map performance. For this mission, try lowering the looter and spook spawn counts.

It is difficult by design, but you can remove specific spook types by editing Rogue\Misc\SpawnSpooks.sqf. Tweak the mission to your tastes, you can change the respawn system, starting gear, give yourself squadmates, whatever you prefer.

I get this is meant to be coop but after dying a few times to the black silouhette teleporting behind you and instantly snapping your neck I gave up. Not my idea of fun this is just frustrating.

Very happy to see guys getting spooked by this. I only finished it once, when a suitcase spawned about 300m from the entrance.

If you open the source above, you can delete all the spook modules to remove the mod requirement. Then edit Rogue\Start.sqf. Set the various crSpookCount... variables to zero and crAnomalyCount to zero.

Sure, source is in the description, you can add as many player slots as you need. If you need more spooks or looters for a larger group, edit the count and group size in Rogue\Start.sqf.

I encourage people to make their own edits with their preferred gear and respawn methods. The mission is easy to customize, just download the source from the description and open it in the editor. You will see a box called crLoot (it has a big arrow pointing to it). Any weapons or items placed in this box will be used as the pool for loot crates you find.

To change the weapons and gear of AI men, edit Rogue\Misc\Looter.sqf (all you need to do is change the classNames in the arrays). If you need help with editing, message me on steam or discord.

For respawn, the design for this mission was to make something tense that you lose 9/10 times. But please edit it to suit your own tastes.

If you release an edit, let me know and I'll add it to the description.

amazing fucking mod almost shat my pants when i heard ''i see him'' and a black entity with a fedora came and killed me

although id recommend adding a respawn module or something alike since its really annoying when you die with good gear and you need to restart completely

Look at the source code and take out all references to the headlamps. Comment out line 237 of Rogue\Misc\Looter.sqf. Then force load with missing addons and save.

Can this work without WebKnight's Flashlights and Headlamps? Personally using Feint's Shoulder-mounted Light. Would be a bummer if there's a dependency for WK's.
