If you have a pack file manager, such as Rusted Pack File Manager: https://github.com/Frodo45127/rpfm and open this mod's pack file then navigate to "units_table", you'll find rg_units. You can change the create cost and upkeep under this tab. Since the AI cheats, you might not be able to stop them spamming in this way. Instead, I would look into the CAI tables in the main data.packs and lower the value of general units so that they don't want them as much.

I have since moved to Linux and haven't found a viable way to mod this game on that platform, so it's been on pause. That and I'm particularly lazy...

any chance you want to teach me how to modify the price of the general so the AI doesn't spam them?

Sometimes AI gets high and recruit an army of generals. First time I saw that I shit myself really bad.

i think there should be some mod that makes generals smile like this ;D

It was moreso inspired by Napoleon and Empire.
