From the Wikipedia:
The underlying strategy for getting profit in the stock market is to buy low, and sell high. Therefore, it is recommended that you calculate the resting value for each stock (10 x (id+1) + Bank level -1, with id being the stock, CRL being 0, CHC being 1 and so on) and to buy when the stock is significantly below this price, and sell when it goes back to its resting value or higher. If you feel as though a stock is in a slow or fast rise, buy it as soon as you can, and sell when it starts to stabilize.
The people on the Discord might be calculating their resting value for the first stock (CRL, which for people with Banks level 10 will be $19), or maybe they're just doing it on what feels right idk. This mod calculates it for every stock and displays how much lower or higher the current price compared to it is.
It was in the easter season, but I guess seasons don't matter, do they?
@Night of the Lepus the border is shown when a stock goes over a 150% value threshold (golden) or under a 50% value threshold (wrath/red). You can change these thresholds in the options menu
If the version is lower it hasnt updated, I'm not sure how you can force Steam to update it other than unsubscribing-resubscribing but you can also try to install it manually [github.com] if Steam is being silly.
Halloween Cookie storm.
Once I clicked the first cookie they all started moving upwards out of the screen and came back from the bottom.
I also tried unsubbing and resubbing to the mod.
If I get another cookie storm I will tell you if it worked.
It also seems to glitch out the spell icons and it pushed the garden grid to the right side of the screen.
theres more info about this better explained on the wiki -basically everything this mod does is display the value the stocks would average during VERY LONG periods of time (which you could calculate manually with the formula above so its not as cheaty as other alternatives that use data hidden from the player imo) :)
I think I understand, but this only gives an in-game hint and unfortunately is of little use to me. Nevertheless thanks for the effort. for me are usually around $4-6, sometimes $10, far from $20. Only once were they close to $40 for a few days. A display of how the value compares to the purchase price would be much more interesting.
@ajwolf99 yes
@Plüschtiger @arroutado you mean like translate how the "resting value" mechanic works? i dont speak german but i asked a friend to translate it
