I'm liking the mod so far, but I just realized the t1 government reforms introduced enable the parliament without the dwarven hold mechanic (less autonomy if a hold has a parliament seat).
Is this intended or not? And if so, why?

in the mission tree there are missions that are not showing up for example: the mithril forges and amends for the past

Where can I find a new tier 5 reforms in original anbennar files? Trying to copypaste, but it has no effect

@nDDf @Copper Spike Yes this will be updated eventually when I am not busy. I have included a guide on how to update this mod yourself in the discussions tab if you like. These submods are fairly simple by design.

@Larrius King i've been using the steam version, though now with the update of eu4 and anbennar it seems i won't be able to continue that playthrough

Its a bug, latest update of Anbennar introduced a bunch of new T5 gov reforms into the base mod and broke pretty much every mod that has other T5 gov reforms in them

There is no level 5 government reform, its just blank so you cant progress the reforms. Is that a bug or intentional feature? Love your mods btw. :gnomechild:

@Copper Spike My submods work with the Steam version of Anebnnar, not for the bitbucket. The bitbucket is updated constantly and it would be a headache to keep updating alongside it

i'm using this together with guibennar, racial details menu and a few other mods, and the republican reformist vs clan mechanic is acting as if i have full clan in power despite only having 10 towards them, furthermore the racial menu bit in the government tab is broken in a way where both the buttons for tolerance and military are just gone

Love the mod! Just found a bug in newest run where running this and Anbennar from bitbucket causes UI to not show tier 5 government reforms for any nation so can not advance past 4, would really appreciate a fix thanks for a great detailed mod

I can't get to the government reforms interface after forming Amldihr and getting the new government event. The game crashes when I try to open it.

The "Ram the Gates" missions does not create the additional colonies. You need to remove the additional "2998 = { ... }" after the limit, it's already scoped to that province.

Updated for Scions of Sarhal. This is probably the biggest update to the submod yet so if you haven't had a chance to play it, now's a great time to jump in! If you have played it, another playthrough should feel fresh! Take a look at the changelog for details.

@EasyCo like most anbennar submods this one is made with steam version in mind ie 1.34 and there were some changes made between it and bitb. the whole lack of steam updates infurates me with this to no end

Ran into the same issue where using any newer version of anbennar (bitbucket) causes a bunch of culture errors, with a lot of countries (especially goblins and even Khet) becoming, "No Culture" and it's basically game breaking (for obvious reasons).

Playing on bitbucket version, for some reason the goblins with the white map color became no cultured and started spreading halfling minorities throughout provinces as they migrated

@Larrius King: Playing public fork version of Anbennar for EUIV 1.35 and using this submod. Played a while and the game started crashing. I know I am taking chances using mods written for older versions of the game, but I looked into the cause. I found a reference to a modifier that Paradox changed the name of in 1.34 (to artillery_levels_available_vs_fort) and it seems you use the newest name for the modifier in most places. However, you missed a reference in Amldihr_mission_modifiers.txt line 253. Once I updated this reference the game stopped crashing. Anyway, looking forward to updates to both the Steam version of Anbennar and your submod. Thank you for giving us this mod.

Hey, there is a new dwarven religon on the test branch so it might be a nice stop gap to set any of the religion requirements to root, also would help any of the regent court dwarves.

Every time I play with this mod, I can never find any of the dwarven gems anywhere. Can you implement a system for Dwarven holds to find expedition targets or ... maybe give the gems?

I mean, it did create a 50 year post-formation period of boring prohibitive expansion unless you gamed vassalization. And the vanilla trees don't provide the same power, at least in the dwarovar, as your tree does. I think though, that the motivation was to add risk/reward to the exploration system while also providing an alternative to the griping about the inequity between escann and the serpentspine.

I'd prefer if your formation was consistent with theirs, but I enjoy your mod regardless, and the mission benefits easily outweigh the penalties. I just heavily favor vassals with it present. Now in vanilla I sometimes behave like ottomans or english, consuming vast swaths of territory directly with a couple significant puppets on my periphery because they have enduring benefits as a march.

@ayberkev No you don't. You are meant to form Amldihr as quickly as possible and start colonizing. Without the admin eff debuff you snowball way too hard. I'm not sure why base Anbennar changed it tbh.

You don't seem to get the dwarven efficiency modifier (admin efficiency buff depending on your adventurer reforms) when you form Amldihr. The id is "dwarovar_adventurer_legacy_1".

@Mordon “Return of the King” is an event rewarded for completing the “Just the Beginning” mission. It’s for more mid-game when you complete most of the top half of the tree.

@Larrius King, I've made a mod to make this compatible with Children of Ruin, that fixes the government reform and undergrowth goblin issue. If you have a problem with this, I will take it down. I've made sure to give you credit and link back here in the description.

Okay, I worked out a fix. Find the mod file, and go to the "governments" folder. Make a copy of the file inside, then delete it in the folder. Replace it with the same file from the main anbennar mod. Then open up the original txt, search for "amldihr_dutch_republic_reform", "judicial_review_submod_reform", "centralization_of_holds_submod_reform", and "amldihr_high_monarchy_reform". Anywhere they appear in the old file, copy and paste them into the new txt file. Save and close, and things should work.

Bug with republic reforms. The only available option for T3 is Sortition, which is incompatible with the custom reform.

Also, no reforms available for dwarovar adventurers.
