I have updated the mod and released a 4.0 version of Xenology - Biological Module on the Workshop: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3478690873 . Please report any bugs that may occur. I probably didn't fix everything in the first patch.

For the foreseeable future, I will no longer be updating EUTAB Unofficial or Xenology Unoffical (or its submods). Anyone wanting to update this has my full permission, provided they take their mod down if Devious (The original author) asks.

@SwedishMeatball85 Empires Expanded overwrites the Gene Tailoring technology to only give +1 trait point instead of +2. But for some reason, Stellaris isn't correctly updating the description for the tech so it still says it gives +2.

Discovered a conflict with the mod Empires Expanded. For whatever reason, with that mod active, the extra species modification point given by the Life Weaver trait in this mod is not granted. This was tested with only those two mods active. Without Empires Expanded active, the trait from this mod granted the point as intended. Just fyi to anyone who may run into that same issue.

I updated a line in the descriptor.mod file from supported_version="3.12.*" to supported_version="v3.12.*". The launcher team apparently doesn't care about clear communication involving changes that affect all modders.

The regular version of the Hypermetabolism trait has no restriction for Lithoids, creating a duplicate with the proper Lithoid version of the trait.

I found that this MOD has multiple "Latest Version" tags.
Right-click "Stellaris" → "Properties" → "Creative Workshop" in the steam library.

For Evilevilhero: GPM MUST always go AFTER Giga. Mod rewriting some stuff, and that sruff caused CTD if GPM is loading above Giga.

This is embarrassing . There were to other mods that I thought were not worth mentioning because of Better Performance and Utilities: Automatic Station Builders and
Greater than Ourselves unlocked (Automatic Pop Resettlement).

Haven't crashed yet, even with the same mods and load order. Though I'd recommend loading patches after the mods they're supposed to patch.

My game crashes whenever I click any of the districts and this occurs when this mod is on.

@Memes I was maintaining my own branch of this mod privately after one of the times the original author (devious, I think) went silent a few years ago. I've come back to Stellaris and trying to wrap my head around adapting to the new leader stuff.
Anyway dude, looking through your screenshots, it looks like you've done an awesome job with the tooltips. If you made all the rest work, then wow, GJ. I'll play a game with this to see how it is.

As with the previous comment, I've spotted more council bugs that might be vanilla-based and might be this mod. Trait-caused leader skills (like Land of the Free from the Unbound trait) now show up in the council UI correctly, but don't seem to have any actual effects. In LotF's case, it doesn't seem to affect either faction unity or crime; the other effects are harder to confirm, but probably also do nothing at the moment.

I'm really hoping the upcoming .1 update will fix a lot of these sorts of things, or at least make it possible for them to be fixed by modders. For now it's just making the game harder, as I needed that faction unity to offset some of the upkeep cost from the Greedy trait. The strange part is just how SMALL the faction unity is in my current game, compared to before this latest expansion...

Yeah, the ship cost discount not working is a vanilla issue, not even tradition trees are safe from it.

I tried playing a game with this mod in its current state. I hadn't realized just how much I depended on those councilor bonuses in my games until they no longer applied... it's rough.

Also, I'm not sure if this mod has anything to do with it, but the vanilla Shipwright leader trait no longer gives its discount to ship cost.

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if many things are broken internally. Here's hoping the hotfix fixes most of these issues.

3.10 has seemed like a debacle pretty much across the board, but it'd be too painful to try to roll back all of my mods to 3.9 so I guess I'm stuck with it.

Besides the text problems, I've noticed that my leader shows no racial modifiers from traits any more. Is that just a UI bug, or is it actually screwing up internally?

Alright, Xenology (and modules) have been partially updated for 3.10.X. What this means is that while the traits themselves should function correctly, a LOT of the text is blatantly incorrect. Gonna wait until the plugin is updated before I tackle that.

Oh boy a new update, I sure hope PDS didn't do another leader rework!
This'll probably take a few days to a week to update, mostly since I want to wait until the plugin I use for mod-making is updated for 3.10.

bless you for not only keeping my favourite mod updated but also giving us more traits. i only wish we would get some for robots in future aswell
