Can you give us Chisel ID please ?
May I have permission to use the old sword model and it's texture that was previously in this mod prior to 2023 for a mod I'm working on? I'd give you credit in the description for the art of course.
What you're describing is what I wanted. What I experienced in game was not. I never had endurance issues and my character was only at like 5 str/fitness when I stopped playing that run.
Still staves deal less than half damage (regardless of other factors that modify damage), and drain 70% more endurance than a crowbar. If your character can still deal good damage with them that would be due to having a buff character with max or near max weapon skill, not the mod.
I crafted them in game and tested them in game. I killed entire hordes with a single quarterstaff and it was still hardly damaged. That's crowbar tier durability..i dont care what the actual numbers were. Granted, I crafted the quarterstaff at Carpentry 10, it could very well just be that it scales too hard or something, but either way it was so high damage and durable that there was little point in me crafting anything else.
I didn't come here and praise the mod and then turn around and give that feedback in some sort of crazy 4-D chess move. That was my actual experience. I left honest feedback based on hours of testing. Heck, i'm even high level video game QA IRL :D.
Crafted bat lasts for 120 hits and deals 0.65 damage. Real bat lasts for 300 hits and deals 0.95 damage and has nearly double the crit chance (40% vs 25%)
Wooden Sword isn't bad at first glance, but aside from requiring 8 Carp to even make, it uses 3x the stamina of a spear while attacking at like 2/3 the speed. Makes for a great noob trap that will easily get oneself killed with. 2.4x stamina use of a crowbar and 3x stamina use of a shovel.
Is it okay to use your barbed wire bat model in a mod I'm working on? Full credit will be given of course.
Good damage, high knockdown, and quite durable. Better than most weapons you find in the world. As durable as crowbars. The low tier weapons felt fine, they lasted a little while and did ok damage. The higher tier weapons this mod adds are ridiculously OP.
The scrap weapons mod exists for a higher tier of self made weapons if people want that, stuff that uses metal and is stronger.
Please help
