There are many uniforms all over vanilla alone that make the bands useless cuz the bands clip into the uniform so far that you can't see the band too well, so they'd need to be made less realistic by widening the distance between the band and the uniform.
^ Personally I considered that unacceptable, but I've come to think the realism part is the least of the problems, so if doing some widening or whatever is what it takes, then so be it cuz I think our group would use them in missions more readily as a result. I know I woulda.

This mod would benefit immensely from use of the ACE3 Arsenal Extended framework, which would allow the armbands to take up 1 spot in the arsenal instead of >30:

If you want the AI to wear it you'll have to use the addGoggles command with the relevant class, or create a mod with a custom unit that has the armband.
Thank you for the hard work.
Bug report.
Medium Armband (Facewear slot) has wrong name (XL)
(or if you are screenshot maker, you can photoshop)
In order to make it look like soldier wearing an NVG while wearing an armband, we'll need a new model, which will be a lot of work, and you'll also need to write a large amount of configuration for that. It's not simple. so never makes.
The NVG tint makes the color of the armband invisible.
We can give the NV function in the config, but the goggles will not be reflected in the appearance. It results in a loss of immersion, and armbands do not make sense in terms of identification.
Such identification at night is usually equipped with IR beacons, IR chemlights, etc. Please use ACE or some scripts.
Its impossible to cover every case and this is the best its gonna be.
If there is something wrong and I used the wrong key let me know, but Im pretty sure I just created this key so there shouldnt be a problem.
