Alternatively, you can upload a patch onto the workshop that modifies Peter's text, provided you make the original mod a "required item"/download for it to work.
Peter's files can be found at Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\322330\2778633028 if you want to take a closer look. His strings are kind of scattered around in various files, though... If I have free time in the next few days, I'll try to update this mod and consolidate them all into a single file.

I understand that this is a bit of a nerf and not all players will enjoy this, so you can revert to the old method by choosing 'Nearby' the mod config. The new method won't ever give you 'dud' maps, so there is no risk of losing resources to it like the old method.
