Given that the vanilla March Ridge has a map, what happens with this expansion? Is that map edited/replaced with a new one that includes both areas, or a second map available? I'm fine with new zones not having maps, but since this is an expansion to an existing township, would feel weird without

@Nerd, just an update. I found several other spots on my abusively modded map and game that do the same thing.
And something that seemed to work for me to eliminate it.
I monitor the game with Rivatuner Statistics Server and noticed something.
The game runs constantly up to the stock 3GB RAM limit in the .json file. The same was true at 4GB, I settled on 6GB and it runs about 5.5 max.
No stutters at any of the spots I had stutter before.

I tried a stupid high 18GB (I have 64GB ddr5) but the game choked hard on that much memory use, I thought it might but had to try :steamhappy:

For me it seems to be a RAM allocation issue, so I'm posting this in case anyone else has a similar problem.

@Nerd, oh, and I also noticed that if I spawn anywhere else on the map and go into this area there is no problem either. I only notice it if I spawn into those houses to the right of the black marked building (and I still can't remember what it is and I just closed the game five minutes ago after some extensive testing...doh!!

@Nerd, well, I've found it only happens if I spawn near the edge of the overlap. If I save and quit the game, and then reload it works perfectly. So it may be a driver issue with my computer. I have a 4070ti and I had a bizarre problem with random crashing in CivVI that disappeared with the last driver update. As it is a newer card it gets updated frequently and this is not the first game to have odd issues. (I'm looking at you Starfield!)
I only posted in the hope you had seen the problem in the past. As it seems to be a unique problem to my system and is resolved with a save and reload I think it's driver related.

That is quite odd indeed. I'm not sure what could be causing that and I have never experienced a similar issue. It may be an issue with the download, maybe try redownloading the mod and see if that helps. Keep me updated, I'm curious.

So I'm having an odd glitch in the areas where your map overlaps the vanilla map.
My character in attack pose lowers and raises the weapon repeatedly. In addition walking in those areas becomes glitchy as the character will 'stutter' while walking or not progress at all while the walking animation plays.
It's difficult to test the full extent as it usually means death as I can't walk or run away in these areas. However it happens for certain in the area with the black marked building ( I forget what it is) and the houses directly to the right of there. If I walk away eventually everything starts to work normally, it just seems to happen mostly in the overlap sections.
For now, I just avoid spawning there as I seem to be able to drive through without issue. I just don't raid in that area.

Hello, when doing map updates can you make a update mod with the new map. When you update map files all server owner must wipe the map in order to play. This put a large amount of downtime on the server. I would rather you just upload another mod with updated version.

Haha, no you're fine. And if there are any bugs or weird stuff (missing lights, messed up textures, etc) that anyone finds, please post them here and be descriptive! I am but one person, its pretty tough to 100% test these maps before making them live, so any bugs posted here I can actually try to fix. Thank you guys for continuing to use my mod :D

I've been working on the map on and off for a bit trying to get it updated, I want to continue this project. Nothing changed because my map editing software seems to be bugging at the moment. I'm trying to get it figured out, but I guess it's kind of a spoiler as to the update that's coming.

I had been using it for a little while now and I notice many things. Bed pieces are backwards on half the bed, as well as many MANY other issues. and with this mod being so long without an update, It seems to me that the mod creator is no longer playing PZ and thus no longer cares about this mod enough to update it. So if someone could take up the mantle and continue
this mod at least until the mod author returns. Someone please do this because this mod is amazing when coupled with the C.O.N mod.

Hi, I'm representing a larger server and was wondering if we could please put your mod in a mod pack for our server. This is specifically for our own manageability, reduced workshop update restarts, version control, and server longevity between wipes. The modpack would be private and all recognition of the mods inside will be given to the owners of those mods. The beds in the houses below the old cabin in the lake, are bugged (glitched/half is sideways) and can't be destroyed

This mod could use some work. Ran into glitches like the staircase at the car dealership missing a floor tile at the top causing me to fall through to the first floor. The garage right next to the car dealership has a fake door that just leads to a wall when opened. The houses were way too similar, each of them had the same furniture and decorations.Overall I think it had promise but needs some more attention to detail.

Mine doesnt work either, I can see the research facility on the map, but theres nothing there for the town and ingame at all. It does work in singleplayer however.

That's very strange. I have personally run this mod and the facility on a dedicated server hosted on my own pc, as well as know several others that run it with no issue. This mod is currently being run on quite a few servers, and I'm not sure what kind of issue you would be experiencing without any details. But to answer your question, yes it works on a dedicated server.

I was just about to say the same thing. Adding just this mod gives 2 errors when in the menu and clicking to edit sandbox settings. The menu then does not show up at all. Only the background and music remains and you have to force close the game. I hope you can fix it ! =)

Mr. Moon it appears there’s a line of code affecting the spawn points file. I probably missed a comma or something similar and didn’t notice while testing. I’ll check out the code and get an update pushed out to fix it. Thanks for letting me know!
