Didn't worked for me, right in the beggining of the first campaign I shoot the stairs railing and saw purple sparks. It didn't conflict with any of my mods

It broke again, but I fully fixed it this time. Deleted my last comment, mods I mentioned had nothing to do with any of it. Hopefully this helps future noobs narrow down their issues.

It was because of a [RNG] cat gun mod I had..
I downloaded it long ago before I knew scripts existed.
There was a warning in description that it would break particle mods, but because of the previous stated reason, I didn't take note of it.

Got rid of the cat mod, now it works flawlessly.

May I add you temporary to show you the issues + my collection? and then you can unfriend me. Basically the mod itself doesn't show any of the particles or cool effects showcased. Only basic l4d2 stuff

What is the issue ? the particle doesnt change at all or texture problem

i completely agree, the armor impacts look very strange

Armor impacts on riots are still very blue, like electricity. Looks odd.

the mod is amazing but i think that there's too many particles and they get way too far from the impact point

@JustAPerson create a collection on steam unsub from all your mods then re sub. Do a fresh install of everything then try again.

after clearing all my mod i found this one to be the problem, when shooting doors it causes the missing texture effect to burst out, and small drops of missing texture below zombies after shooting them, i have all the 8 mods included with the texture files and find no change, i will next disable all my other mods to look for any overlapping issues, so far i believe it to be an issue with the actual mod so far.

I'm only using bullet impact, gore, texture files, and custom melee trail. I'm not having any noticeable issues with this on the first campaign (I haven't tried the others). I'm using an intel cpu and nvidia graphics card.

Same as @The_Real_Grant_Macdonald and @Goat Alice, subscribed to the whole +Ultra Particle Full Set, no conflicts, getting "square" dust from bullet impacts

when i use ultra the bullet impacts are squares with a bunch of small impact textures inside it

still appears missing texture when shooting

When you shoot a gun or iron, purple and black error boxes appear in the particles

Check for conflicts, if there isn't I dont know what's wrong

Yes, use Low setting on Effect or edit the particle yourself

Absolutely love the mod overall, and I know someone mentioned this as a "bug" but I want to point it out as feedback. The blue sparks on riot cop armor looks cool, but when a lot of rounds are hitting the armor at once, there is a crazy flood of sparks like a junction box is blowing up. Is there a way I could tone this down locally, or is it something you have considered toning down slightly?
