actually nevermind they replaced hatrenderedfrontofface with a different system which needs to be tweaked but other than that it's fine

This is a pure xml mod. I see no reason this wouldn't work in 1.5, just ignore the version warning or change the about.xml file if it bothers you.

@caninmyham looking forward to when you do get around to updating it for 1.5
your mod is one of my very favorites that gives much needed variety in what baddies approach you with, or how to fill holes in armor sets. I get the burnout, so no rush. Just wanting to let you know you do good work, damn near critical work. Hope your time away from the game is healing and relaxing.

Officially? No. I find modding to be equal parts the enjoyment i get from rimworld as the game itself; i'm just not currently in a position to have the time to play and mod it at the moment.

People have my preemptive permission to make unofficial patches or updates in the mean time if they would like, however, so long as they link the respective original mod pages.

@PatoPixelado as vague an answer as this is, "eventually". I've become sort of jaded with Rimworld's modding scene over the years, though I do still love the game, I don't plan to update my mods until i'm back in a habit of playing it again.

you forgot 1 magical line of code! :'D
the smithable Shackles for prisoners & slaves are missing a slave suppression offset of some positive percentual digits, cuz as of now, they don't remind anyone of any status, except me of your status as owner of the mod when i read the description that claims false facts :'P

+4% would be just perfectly funny, cuz with shackles & slavenecklace slaves would end up losing 1% per day :P


PS: for those looking for boots & gloves, i highly recommend Vanilla Armour Expanded. that + thog's armor = everything covered, plenty of stuff to craft on all tech stages. both mods fill each others holes, going perfectly hand in hand. :3

Doesn't impact functionality but I have an odd issue with double flak masks. Any word of others having the same issue or maybe if theres a fix? The second mask is on their chest.

Could a color be given to it though? They seem to spawn pure white for some reason. (dev mode spawn in while testing a mod list, if that matters)

@Lennybolt7 This was an intentional chance, Flak visors being stuffable was an oversight, but their protective values have been boosted in compensation. Apologies for any inconveniences or loss of resource this may have caused.

The flak visor is no longer stuffed and is completely white after the latest update.

As far ask I can tell that's the only item with this issue, but i did not check every item.

I have an issue where the visors duplicate on the chest of pawns when being worn. I'm using CE alongside thog's armor and have no idea what the issue is. Nothing else seems to be affected other than the double visor though.

Nice selection of armor, especially the visors since Vanilla Expanded has removed a bunch of their defensive options in recent updates. I also appreciate that visors can be used over helmets without with the head slot

Worth mentioning that the crafting page for the flak visor includes components in the list of available crafting materials (because they're used in the recipe). I wasn't sure how it'd work, so I just unchecked everything except the desired metal material and they still crafted just fine and still include 1 component when built (tested by cancelling one in-progress). Seems like just a small oversight, as the ablative assault visor also requires components and doesn't have this issue, only the flak visor

Minor bug: the wooden armor (for example the wooden armguards) has the name "wooden wooden armguards" in a pawn's inventory menu. This doesn't seem to affect gameplay in any way, just the name displays a bit weird.

Also just FYI This mod in Particular is CE Compatible. Slight Visual Glitch with the masks but ill have CE guys make a patch for it. Works as intended otherwise. Thanks for the mod!

Nice mod, really smooth fit with a neo only run, with these exceptions for the wood items; the chest is neolithic and fully usable in a Neo only run, the arms are industrial and missing, and the legs are unspecified so they are craft-able, but not assignable to storage. I assume the intent was wood for neolithic, easy fix too. Thanks again ;)
