The bug I had a year ago was not a crash, was a problem that whenever you wanted to open the map in game it wont open up, maybe it was caused by an incompatibility with other mod, but since this game requires restart after disabling every single mod I didn't test further, anyway, nice mod.

I've been playing with this for weeks now, without any bugs. I had to stop playing X4 ever since Egosoft messed the map up in a patch - thanks for fixing it and enabling me to play again!

Ruiner he didn't say it causes a crash he said it causes a bug to happen in game... something to do with opening the map

Necromenta you're wrong. If you are going to claim an extension is responsible for crashes, the correct way to test is to disable every extension except for the one you are testing. If it still crashes with only that extension enabled, that extension has an issue.

With only this extension enabled, it does NOT crash. This mod 100% still works with Timelines, it is a very simple mod.

Confirmed - this mod causes a bug where you can't open the map, disappeared after disabling, can't confirm if this was due to incompatibilities with other mods, this is in beta 7.05

I love this mod, thank you for making it happen - it's a must-have for me.

It would also be great if it could show enemy ships at the same zoom levels.

It still works with 6.0.

Just to make sure credit goes where it belongs, I asked if it was possible to make the mod on the Discord, DeadAir went ahead and made it for me and didn't mind if I posted it to Steam.

It would be nice if Egosoft could add this back to the original game, with a toggle and filters.

Would be nice to have easily toggable filter to filter between combat / civilian ships and maybe size ect:P still like this, been very helpful as a new player while figureing out the map

There's no filters, it should just show fleet commanders and individual ships.

Does it let you choose which ship types? I'm reading about the lag which makes sense, but i'd use it if I could choose just fighters and or destroyers.

Now I wont have to scroll through all my ships to see if they are under attack because the captains don't wanna tell me their ship filled with hull parts is being harassed by one xenon N

I realy like this mod. Unfortunately it greatly increases lag. So many more ships are visible and have to be processed. My game with 850+ ships got unplayable because of lag. Dissabling this mod removed the lag nearly totaly. A shame I had to do that.

It is. Prior to 5.0 this was a feature available in the base game, it was removed in 5.0.

I have hundreds of ships as I'm late-game, I don't have any crashes. The map was like this in 4.2.

Your PC should be able to handle running at 100% load without overheating, something must be wrong.

100% agree, it does impact performance, however it's absolutely necessary to see the fleets.

It should be a filter. The map is worthless without being able to see fleets.

This is done for optimization so that the card does not slow down.
