I've been using this mod for a while and it is invaluable, cuts out so much tedium. Great work!

I've just checked it and it seems right to me. It's worth noting that Cookie storm drop and Lucky are effectively the same thing, just with different gains and taglines.

I will look into it, then. A new update dropped recently which could have changed something (or I just made a mistake)

I'm having the same issue where "cookie storm" actually gave "lucky"

Did more testing. The first effect on the list was "Cookie storm drop" but when clicked only gave a "Lucky" golden cookie.
The next one was "Building special" which did work. And after that was "Click frenzy" which also worked.
Either I don't really understand how "Cookie storm drop" works or only the first spell was inaccurate. Seems to be working good now

Make sure you're looking at the right list for your season

Had the correct outcome at the beginning but then the list got updated to an incorrect one. Tried resetting, deleting, reloading, etc.
But nothing seems to give me the correct list anymore.

Might be out of scope for this mod, but would it be possible to make it a Heavenly upgrade, and make it so it shows the outcome of the other spells as well?
Basically make this a succesor to Klattmose's Fortune Cookie, as I prefer the UI of this addon :)

I need to know what the next few spells coming up are so I can automate casting FtHoF vs Haggler's Charm, so I would at least need access to clairvoyance.seededResults(). I can probably parse out the results from there and then we're in business.

If I want to make a mod that depends on this mod predicting FtHoF, do I have access to that information or do I need to copy part of the code and give credit? I'm somewhat familiar with a few programming languages, but not Javascript, and I've never made a mod for anything before, so I'm trying to work out how I should approach this project.

Btw, you can use Haggler's Charm to advance the list of Hand of Fate for less mana, I guess the grimoire uses one seed.

The description of FTHOF says "each existing golden cookie makes this spell +15% more likely to backfire," so the game is changing what it will do when it's cast and this mod is correctly showing what would happen if you did.

i noticed that any time a golden cookie spawns it completely changes the entire prediction list. the list returns to normal after the GC is clicked or expires

Great mod. Only one question. It seems like if I get off for the day and come back almost 24 hours later the list has been reset. Closing the app doesn't seem to change it, so what could be the cause of this? To clarify, I don't think this is the mod, rather just another feature of the game. I'd only like to understand this factor more to further excel in my cookie production. Any info is greatly appreciated.

it's a bug, working on fixing it atm

So how does this work? When I hover over FtHoF, I get a list of GC events, with the topmost one being Cookie Storm and the bottommost one being Clot, but when I use it and click the cookie, I got Lucky. After I had pressed it and the cookie, the entire list was shuffled as well.

I can only assume that was an intentional design decision by Orteil to make it easier to set up combos. Thanks for the update, btw! Helps a ton.

apparently only easter and valentines affect fthof seeded results. it’s weird but it happens

free cookies is a cookie storm drop (which by itself is basically a lucky). i was playing with localization strings and changed that in the process, though i can change it back if its too confusing

What is the difference between Lucky and Free Cookies? Aren't they the same effect?

I figured out that this mod was conflicting with another mod which led to the confusing outcomes. I 100% know that is not your fault. Works pretty great (now that I know how to use it)

the left side is only correct when there's no season active. the right side is only correct when it's Valentine's or Easter season. i'm going to update the mod at some point to make this clearer

the third party achievement just seems to be kind of bugged in the steam version at the moment. this should be fixed in the next game version, hopefully. if not, i'll look into it again

Is there confirmation this allows achievements? Every time I log in it gives the 3rd party achievement notification but nothing in steam or the achievement tab in game.

I cannot get this to reliably tell me what golden cookie is next. Sometimes it is right and other times it isn't. I look at the top left column, right?
