Exception: if someone else has already updated one of my mods, then don't also update that mod unless you're gonna make something about it different to the other person's update. Workshop doesn't need to be turned into an episode of Tuesday With the Clones.
This might mean some of my other mods having unfinished features present in them then, which would include stuff like bad localisation or gfx. My local files being deleted means I can only make "corrected" versions of the mods, not update the ones everyone's currently subbed to.
Am playing a multiplayer round and when either of us activate the decision to open our dynasty legacy page it will open up for both of us.
I don't know enough of zoroastrianism. Put a rundown of what you think such a legacy should be in the "your suggestions" discussion and I'll probably follow that.
dynasty legacies for zoroastraisns.
3: Winter attrition (how many soldiers you lose to attrition in winter)
1: Winter fatal casualties (odds that a soldier who'd otherwise die becomes a retreating soldier instead OR if your army is already retreating the odds of them surviving what would otherwise be a killing blow)
It doesn't seem like they removed any other, non-winter-related modifiers, since I can still find other modifiers used in this mod in the vanilla traits.
Replaced them with basic winter advantage. I'm gonna do some sherlocking to see if there's something better I can do but there probably isn't.
If it's 1st, 3rd, 4th and the modifiers missing I know exactly what happened and how to fix. Otherwise I need to do a little sherlocking.
Anyone who wants some genetic legacies for dwarfism, gigantism and albinism have your fun here lmao. These are going to be in this mod but for anyone who wants them early or to have these without the other legacies, enjoy.
Since the sheer number of legacies is now approaching "my CPU gained sentience just so it could beg me to stop" levels I'm also gonna be making split-off mods containing some of these legacies according to their general themes (religious ones get their own mod, genetics ones get their own mod, terrain ones get their own mod, etc).
To clarify: all legacies will be present in this main mod, I'm just gonna be copy-pasting them into other mods as well, so people who need to pick and choose because of limited computing power have the option to not include legacies they don't care about.
I wanted to try a run with growth boost by 25% instead of 100% too
The thing is for the faithful legacy, multiple "steps" of the legacy give 100% development growth, when you have the whole legacy it's hella fast to develop a county.
I'm bad at maths and unironically encourage anyone who is not bad at maths to make their own versions of this that fix the bad maths.
Also that'll be fixed next update. I've been working on a mechanic for the Inventor's Legacy line to give them more use.

What is this "balance" you speak of?
From the 18th of August I will be free from exams and hopefully be allowed to transfer to a much less time-consuming/soul-crushing/boring/[god this course sucks] course at university. So after the 18th yes, and how much after the 18th idk if I get the transfer probably a lot if not then probably not a lot cos refer to things about current course that give me little time to mod and less energy to spend what free time I have on modding.
New mod and mod update production will likely be a bit slower than it was during my peak even if I get the transfer, mostly cos I'm short on ideas.
Yeah. Welp extra learning, dev growth and other stuff from the other perks still helps. I might add a thing where those in a dynasty with at least one of the tree's perks can take a decision that has a tiny chance of making the culture instantly gain whatever innovation it's currently fascinated with, and make that decision available to AI regardless of if they're landed or not. Basically one of the dynasty members having a eureka moment.
More members of the dynasty and further along the tree = more rolls at getting instant innovation. It's just that finding some way to limit this and properly balancing it is very difficult, as idk how to for example put a limit on how many rolls at insta-innovating can result from having more dynasty members.
I am about 90% sure it just increases the percentage chance for the monthly tick. If you want more progress points when the tick occurs the third perk improves development progress.
It increases the speed at which a culture gains innovations if a member of your dynasty is the head of that culture. If nobody in your dynasty is the head of any culture the first perk's only use is gaining access to the other perks, although I might know a way to make it so that dynasty members can contribute to innovation without being the dynasty heads.
In fact just cos I really like that idea that'll probably be the first thing I do once I'm done with the other things that've been keeping me busy.
Yes and no. I've added something to the feature list of "things to add to this mod when I have the time" that is essentially being able to change which dynasty tracks are available for both yourself and the AI with decisions that turn certain global flags on and off. Accessing any dynasty track is only possible if a flag made just for it is turned on.
(to be clear that's not yet a feature but a planned one)
Yeah, I got curious, so I searched eldian and found the mod, then saw that the same guy that made this, made that one too.
Sorry about that. My workloads on irl stuff have increased so I don't have as much time as before for modding, although I do still intend to add more things to a lot of my mods and make more in the future.
