I also had the same bug with things not arriving. Seems to be related to having a landing spot specified. Unsetting the landing spot fixed the cross-vault deliveries not showing up.

Also I think it's a bug in the base slingshot, not this mod. Same thing happened with the normal vault resource exchange before I installed this mod.

Hi, I'm doing a Ancients vault origin and I installed this mod after game start. I choose the option to send cargo to my first base and selected the destination on the map.

At the destination I can see the green balloon descend and an animation like dust being kicked up from a landing on the grass, but there is no cargo there. I had moved the landing zone tile far out to the grass because the first time it did this and got this result, I thought the balloon just landed "on the roof." Earlier on this playthrough it worked once on my first attempt- I sent an item between these sites. At least the "sent items" are still at the new vault so I can try over and over to send them and I've lost nothing.

@Darkasknight667: If you want a randomized trade you can do the default mode, which sends it to a distant outpost.

I also have weird problem. My parachute came but instead of items I got tons of Plasteels, literally. And they not touch down where I mark. Maybe it is problem with Load Order ?

Do you have to be in control of both sites? So it's just like an instant mailbox? Or can you send it to an NPC controlled site and get stuff back like a randomized trade?

have the same issue as DirtyBob, load stuff in the slingshot -> press lunch -> no menue, and i also never get stuff in return

Hey I throw a supply pod between two vault with my best colonist inside the slingshot. But the vault where I sent him was on a map with no outdoor visible area (I forgot to reveal a landing area) so now the "Supply" is staying indefinitly on the top of my other vault without going down. I play with no save so do you think there is a way to got my colonist back from that immobile supply crate ? (the green one with the parachute canopy) Thank you !

How do you get around the problem of the incoming supply drop hitting a mountain roof and effectively getting error'd out of existance?

Well, apparently sending another supply cancels the previous supply. So ten supplyshots I've sent to other vaults got resetted.

4. Seems like collection nanonites and its technology is useless as occupying the vaults (as an invader) equals free psypowers, as ancient soldiers keep arriving every day, resulting in around 3-4k$ profit from each body, which can be loaded to a slingshot and sent. I'm kinda stuck occupying a vault because of this, as I'm too tempted to see if a SUPPLY DROP would land, which it says would arrive in a week, but within that week I would make 84k profit to launch again (3k per pawn * 4 pawns (usually 3-5 arrive to raid) * 7 days)

I'm confused regarding how this works and have a few questions.
1. You are apparently supposed to launch stuff to other vaults, and I have two unexplored on the map, which aren't selectable. Are explored vaults re-enterable and can receive stuff only after you explore them first?
2. Some folk in the comments mention they launch stuff back home - are you allowed to launch stuff to base normally (because it doesn't let me launch stuff there as well), or is it only allowed with isolationist meme?
3. It says I will get a gift of the same value in return, but I don't seem to be receiving anything. Except, I noticed that some of my pawns have acquired some random superpowers. Are these supposed to be the gifts? There are no notifications for receiving them.

@legodude17 Just wondering if it would be possible to have a Total Value of a load to be displayed somewhere in the interface for those that might want to hit target wealth redistribution.

@sk4p3g04t its a fucking slingshot, humans can take a decent amount of G-force but it is still bad for us, getting launched at with such force into the atmosphere without protection is gonna be lethal

So is the supply slingshot supposed to be lethal for people? I sent back a pawn and while his weapons showed up, all that was left of him was a bloody smear.

For whatever reason when using this to shoot some colonists back home from where I was raiding, and I got a few alerts saying some of my colonists (3/5 of the ones sent) had died, and 'caravan lost' with all of them as 'captured by Ancient Soldiers'.

The kicker: They all came back just fine. Only some moods to deal with. I don't know what wild mod interaction that was, but I thought it was interesting enough to share.

Does anyone know why me sending stuff back to my vault from another (event) vault would have the 'supplies' faux-caravan object just stop on top of my base icon on the world map, and not 'enter' my base? The debug log says

Question: Is it possible to make the slingshots reinstallable? I know there is the minify mod, but it always made no sense how slingshots can work underground anyway.

I kinda want to use the sling from the cargo cult start to send people to quest vaults, since they don't have easy access to transport pods.
