multiple reasons, still on going really, that was just the first big one that did alot of us in. biggest reason behind the crack down was/ is BI wanting arma to be more main stream with the transition to consoles & thats why you dont see much ripped / ported / or assets designed to lookin like another games IP anymore (for the most part) & why reforger/ arma 4 / so on wont use steam workshop for mods, theyll use their own platform they can regulate, control, & monetize... straight outa the bethesda playbook : /

@Glaphitus Kage just skip the issue, only planes used for the australia rebels are the dc3 & armed t41 cessna from CUP, im guessing the class name just changed for one of them, no big deal

Yeah that's what I ended up doing. Those yashers from the JEFF mod work with ace and Im pretty sure the chimera were working as well a few weeks ago with ace. I thought maybe the recent ace update did something to it

easy solution, dont use ace, its incompatible with everything. the chimera come from jm's jeff. as far as i know there is no ace compatability mod for it

The Chimera seem to be incompatible with ace as when I have ace loaded the Chimera men are unkillable. This wasn't always the case and likely something to do with a recent update, can you fix or give suggestions to make chimera compatible with ace.

I feel like the vehicles in Killzone never got enough attention. They did the illusion of combined arms warfare but there was never the threat of an unscripted Helghan tank rolling over you. Or unscripted dropship landings. But it's awesome to see Resistance realized this way.

I feel the same way about it. Full war in the campaign small arcadey arena like gameplay on multiplayer. Killzone and Resistance are alike in that way. Still awesome games though.

I love those walkers. They fit in so many fictional theatres. Arma is like Gmod but realistic. I personally think it could use some Killzone factions and Gears of war Locust faction mods. I would say someone should do a Battletech faction mod but I think that is stretching things a bit.

I never even thought of crysis but I think that would be very cool. As always you're doing a phenomenal job with this stuff. If I were half as talented I'd give it a shot trying to add much wanted factions and vehicles.

though we never see much of them in the games or lore, from what we do know "plane tech" is already well into the age of jets by the time of R1. some countries like japan even replaced their plane mounted mg's with a chaingun and missiles, much more akin to late cold war tactics, though im sure many "ww2 era" planes were still in service all over the place.
that said, we wont be adding any more mod to the required mods list & all work on this mod has stopped. the only update you may see to this is future is a few more guns from the resistance games if the LDF team decides to release them for A3 but thats it. if you wanna know more see the finally entry in the change log

Why not just use Flying legends and Secret weapons reloaded because the games do also have a bit of WW2 feeling to it.

because this is just an alive mod, it dont us its own assets or textures, everything comes from teh required mods and there inst many 1950's plane mods out there

@Retroburger1984 : another day, another mod gets purged. thx for letting me know, i found a replacement for it & added it to the required mods list (it was KA weapons) also germany is located under the bluefor tab

as cool as it is to finally have a pershing to play with it wont be added to this mod required mods list, as the list is already quite long, but has been added to the recommended tab.

chimera arn't immortal, just very tanky, if they really cant be killed then its likely a mod conflict, try with just the required mods and see if the prob persists. as for ace i don't use ace. cant stand the mod and this and everything elce i have made have 0 testing or even regard for it. seeing as it conflicts and breaks just about everything ide say that prob what causing your issues.

Great job <3 but i had one problem using this mod on vanilla Altis map(didn't test it on other maps yet). All Chimera units besides vehicle are immortal and didn't get any ACE Medicine damage. Any known solutions?

@jeff the chimera are just tanky, as there no health regen in arma. if they are actually "invincible" prob a mod conflict, try with just the required mods. also this is just an alive faction mod, basically just a compostion you can spawn normally, all assets used come from the required mods, this mod doesn't have any of its own. the team adding the resistance stuff is The Liberty Defense Project. cant speak for them but what ive gathered from their comment section is theyre doing the weapons and maybe gear first. as for maps idk anymore, has some planned but they take so long to make and with arma 4 right around the corner, not sure what the future holds

already added, you can find them in the US Armed Forces factions under Men (Special Forces)
