The maker of unified UI is the one who makes the fixes. I'll send it to them but if it's actually urgent you're gonna either need to cope with the wonky GUI or do without one of these mods.

Have you considered using the Unified UI mod's framework to resolve the remaining GUI issues? I think it was created for problems just like this one, at least from what I can surmise as someone with zero modding experience.
