Following this guide helped to change the locked states (why would anyone add locked wiring to custom subs is a mystery to me) The sub has it's flaws but I'd rather spend a couple of hours unlocking the wires because it's still too good to spare myself the trouble and pick a different sub

Хотя, сейчас проверил это еще раз и кажется за прошедшее время что-то изменилось, теперь батарея тратит заряд только когда реактору не хватает мощности, и если не регулировать ее скорость зарядки она быстро оказывается заполненной. Выходит, теперь это дополнительная возня для техников.
С конденсаторами так задумано. Увеличьте скорость зарядки до 100%, купите для них апгрейды.
Кнопка Старт подключает в сеть освещение, двигатели, кислород и фабрикаторы/деконструкторы, аварийное освещение служит индикатором когда подлодка заглушена.
Соответственно, если вы заглушите подлодку на ходу, то это сразу уберет основную нагрузку из сети создавая перенапряжение, и если батарейка не сможет его впитать (например, если она уже полная или ее скорость зарядки 0), то оно сожжет щитки ибо автоматический режим реактора никак не успеет снизить выработку.

Try reinstalling the mod, in very rare cases it happens that when downloading the mod, the wiring may fail.

At what exact moment does this happen, did you notice the load and output?
Maybe the sub was idle and at that moment the battery / shuttle / weapon could be fully charged and the voltage was reduced, the reactor simply does not have time to reduce output.
Or maybe someone just disconnected the power wire from the oxygen generator and this greatly reduced the load?..
I couldn't reproduce it, everything seems to be working normally.
I've investigated the issue and it seems to be caused by the latest update, and appears if the sub has the same size shuttles. The hangar doors here are mirrored and have a different file, but the problem exists.
The same thing happens with my K-07 Kasatka because it has 3 identical drones, although each of them has a unique weapon and they are different files too.
We need to wait for a hotfix I think. And thanks for your feedback!
Try to unsubscribe, restart the game and subscribe again.
At least it helped fix the wiring that for some reason broke during the first install.
Can't load this sub in the multiplayer mode.
The error is the following after open submarine in editor:
'The file is corrupted, this submarine has objects with same ID ( (-1) and (-1)).'
Any chances for the fix?
- Added pilot seats.
- Fixed UI for displaying currently selected ammo type for coax turret.
- Slightly corrected line-of-sight shadows in the shuttle, also removed the second chaingun loader.
- Reduced docking port effects for gates (this was causing fps drops).
Sadly have no idea :\

Hmm.. in some places I deliberately made shadows to get an effect similar to ambient occlusion, but it should not be too dark.
The screenshot shows an example of lighting, compare it with what you have.
Just run the submarine in the editor and turn on the lighting checkbox, it should be the same.
But if the problem is directly in the gameplay, then maybe it's a lack of power? Without upgrades, the reactor can't handle all the components, especially if you start using engineering at the same time as moving.
Start the reactor, hold the position and check how the lighting behaves with a stable voltage.
It's also possible that something is broken, try re-subscribing to the mod in this case.

- Possibly fixed a bug with incorrect gates mechanism due to desync (sometimes they could be in wrong positions and cause line of sight bugs).
Please be aware and try not to use the gate if there is an obstruction to it or if the submarine is on the bottom, it may derail them while moving.
Maybe I will add an alternative version with a vertical door if there is enough space for it and if it's convenient for the drone to swim in / swim out.

Hmm, have you tried completely reinstalling the mod? Maybe something went wrong during the installation and something got lost..
Just unsubscribe from the mod, start the game and go to the list of installed mods section so that it deletes the files. then subscribe again and click the Refresh button in game above the disabled mods list and it will appear again.
p.s. If after unsubscribing you still see the alligator in the list, you will have to remove it manually from:
AppData\Local\Daedalic Entertainment GmbH\Barotrauma\WorkshopMods\Installed\2783571991
