Frud. Yup you gusesed right. It's a Stormworks bug. The only way is to load the area by some player being there.

This is really awesome, I've been able to get it to fly to the target coordinates. My issue is that for some reason, they don't explode when reaching the target (I attached remote cameras to watch them). I've got the warhead set to 5 m/s and even tried a 'constant on' for the warhead arming. They seem to sort of fly through the earth at the target. It may be just some sort of stormworks bug where it won't explode if I'm not close to it.
