@BladeofSharpness observing the same , my Plant pawn ( Priority 1 ) cooks instead ( priority 3 ) because the kitchen and rec room to eat are close together :/

嗯,这个其实是我最早想加的功能。
不过这个功能会让这个MOD需要修改存档,同时还有游戏中的UI调整问题,做起来需要一点功夫。
等下次更新我可以考虑加上。

目前你可以使用MOD设置里的高级功能,设定具体的工作类型不受此MOD影响。

大佬太厉害了! 想提个建议 可以针对不同小人开关这个模式,重要人物可以按原版优先级(比如医生),打工小人很实用。

"While you are Up" only makes pawns do hauling, nothing else.
And they are not needed as that behavior is in vanilla now.

This mod makes your pawns do all kinds of jobs nearby, potentially.

this is essential when playing on big maps, nothing more annoying than my pawn going across the map to hunt or something only to turn around once they get there to go suppress a slave or something lol

I'm not sure it works that well, I have seen pawns ignore tasks 30 tiles away which were at priority 1 while doing priority task 3, and I did not touch the +1 priority bonus for close tasks. It can obv come from a mod conflict though.

I would love to have a toggle button in the lower right of the screen so that I can turn this mod on and off at will. When I have a deadline to meet, I spend so much time fighting with my people and I can no longer force them to do what I want via the work tab.

One thing to keep in mind. "Taking a nearby hauling job" might be a vanilla behavior, it's called "opportunistic hauling". Have you tested with no mods at all? It would have such behavior too.

I'm using fluffy's work tab mod, and now it's being continued by "Work Tab 1.5 Temp"

I tested it and it's perfectly compatible.

I didn't not find a "work tab" mod by "Owlchemist"

I think this is partially incompatible with Owlchemist's Work Tab mod, which adds work priority levels up to 9. With the Work Tab mod, the "Priority Boost" function of this mod doesn't work: I could have a Priority Boost value of 1 (default), my pawn have more (priority 3) cutting assignments to do, but instead take the nearby (priority 6) hauling job.

Or similarly, my emergencies-only pawn might decide to do surgery despite it being a priority 9 job...

While You Are Nearby now supports mechs from Biotech DLC too.
You lovely little mechanoids will be as smart as your colonist on finding nearby jobs rather than zigzaging across the map all the time.

This mod let your colonist to work at lower priority jobs nearby to reduce back-and-forth long distance trips.

While You Are Up mostly only do a convenient hauling job when doing long distance trip. It's not affect any other types of jobs.

So they are handling different things, with marginal amount of overlap.

Yes they are compatible out of the box.

Hey sorry for the dumb questions, but I assume that since you've listed it as a "recommended" mod it should be fully compatible with While You're Up / PUAH+ out of the box? To be fair their functions seem to overlap, so I'm not sure which would be better to pick
