yea everyone wanted to see this mod in a better state, even I wanted to try to do it, but nix has the final word over her mod

Kind of sad this mod's been abandoned. Edith and Tainted Edith look very fun based on what gameplay I've seen of them. But the birthrights being unimplemented, as well as potential bugs cropping up, is kind of a deal breaker.

I tried to move the target for edith to stomp/jump on, but the target was nowhere to be seen and I can't stomp/jump on anything.

Making Ediths default speed a bit faster and allowing her to shoot during hops would probably help with the issues Edith has. Idk how much you experimented when you made her. But since TEdith can shoot while moving would be neat if Edith could too.

frog leg makes you really fast in water

Something about T Edith and Dogma makes you super slow Edith with Dogma is able to move at the speed you'd expect. Also is Frog Leg really just Goat Hoof.

This mod is insane and I completely understand if you don't want to finish it (it's already amazing in it's current state) but a fully finished version would probably be the best mod in the game.

I'll be honest everything about the mod so far works top notch and Edith is a character I like a lot despite people usually being meh about her
Not exactly sure about the unlocks, they're not all done so I didn't really do much besides play a couple o' runs
I'm just kind of scared for the future of this mod given the lacks of updates recently, really wish we had an actual playable Edith with all of her stuff in game

It's reversing directions that feels a bit weird sometimes it feels like the enemy is knocked back and i'm safe and other times not. Smashing into walls has plenty I frames

Oh yeah auto jump being off by default feels criminal tho how can you play this character with your pinky finger.

I do hope this mod gets finished one day you did a good job making Edith have pretty animations but still feel like the character she's meant to be. Tainted Edith feels super jank but just kinda needs a bit more I frames on hitting a wall and stuff

I guess it is Custom Stage API since it's only absent for modded bosses.
Just renaming the files to "playername_edith" and "playerportrait_edith" and updating the players.xml works fine. I guess it expects a certain naming consistency for some reason.
