im not sure what u mean exactly, unless something in the game changed, if u follow the guide that should not happen

how do you make it so that the cargo doesnt spontaneously combust while attempting to connect with the flatbed which is not yet connected to the bottom bit

Thanks.

b = (u - 1) * 4 + 1
u = (b - 1) / 4 + 1

May i have a guide to general Blocks to u conversion? Dividing the blocks by the u doesn't give a consistent number, but I thought of making some MCS-compatible modules, and a chart would come in handy.

You can use the layouts of the base cars as inspiration

Of course. As long as you comply with the standards there are no issues, keep in mind that the modules have one block overlap, unlike contrainers, so spacing between to adjacent slots has to be 3 blocks, to then also accompany larger sizes over smaller slots.

I would like to add your size 8, 12, or 16 to the dimensions of my wagon's flexible connector system. Is that okay?

Its the one by spider, but stay tuned there might soon be an astr one

is there a link to the container forklift you used?
Serpentine  [author] 31 Mar, 2022 @ 9:59am
Depending on the module you can use a container handler or a florklift. There are also plans to create a handler that actually fits the non iso sizes and enables handling of other modules so stay tuned.

Amazing series of creations! Would you be able to direct me on how to move the modules while not on a base? Thanks!
Mr Lennyn 29 Mar, 2022 @ 2:39pm
Thanks for the answers guys!

@Mr Lennyn yes, the ASTR MCS system is designed to be compatible with the official containers. To load them, simply line up your container with the orange markings on the base. Remember to activate the electric connectors on both the base and the container as the last thing you'll want is for them to fall off!
Serpentine  [author] 29 Mar, 2022 @ 2:03pm
It fits 3 standard ISO containers, the one from the devs as well as a bunch of more types of containers and modules

Does this work with the devs logistic containers? Is that what ISO is? I know there are a few standars and I wonder what's the most popular.
This is beautiful btw.
