@Vince I found that Sandstorm is best for basically all the tracks. If you don't have DLC though, I don't really know since I didn't test the cars to that extent

Usually just the name of the tracks without spaces, reverse ones are just with a "b" added for backwards. Exceptions are say "UK" map from nfs4 which is ukmap since 4 letters minimum nfs4 custom maps use "nfs4" prefix since they have simple names sometimes for easy distinction. These ones are just the names straight up. "multiplexloop" is the only one slightly off of course some don't have backward version watch out for that.

Also having tire clipping problem, but only with center arrows track that looks like it's intended to artificially speed up vehicles. Brings all cars to a halt when sunk into with buggy jittering...

Mods can change properties how tires react to what material, none of mine use this could be mod related? Gotta be more specific where I forgot collision too I barely play the game I just mod, test and adjust when I forget tree collison I would most certainly not notice later on.

Car wheels now clip into the floor and it looks like the car stuck in wet concrete.

Would love to see demo derbys and more intersections/crossovers added to this! Then would make it a 5 star but its a for sure 4 star. The twisted metal track seems like its way to difficult and should be made more possible to finish.

Can confirm, Twisted Iron is possible. Nexus is perfect for it.

Twisted Iron is playable with a bit of foresight. Only the long vertical walls you have to grind along the sides which only very few cars can actually do. Not sure how to slightly edit them either I've survived 5 laps in a row now it does get harder the more damaged the car is but it is possible.

Twisted Iron looks so good in theory, but for me its sadly undriveble :(

hey TOAST, really like the tracks, I however can't get a server script.cfg to work, I've tried everything, even phone a friend...lol

I was attempting a sort of redesign so they're all Deathloop variants that intersect eachother so AI can use them properly. However I can't change the gravity for just a single track. There is a moon gravity mod, I can't twist reality so buses can take 140m diameter loopings.

Can not get round the really big loops. Samller ones are ok but I made it once with the Rocket RX on the big loops but that was a fluke as I couldn't do it the next lap. Good track and I would use it often but nope, not till it's fixed.

You gotta find a way to have #speedup working on your mod setup. No idea when it doesn't work and hard to circumvent given you can't really make your own shader.

Really cool track with the loops but still can't get thru the third loop. I made it around one time witha stock vehicle and on second lap, the car just fell and crashed again. Is there something special one has to do to make it thru the loops because I was only able to do it one time.

Anyone having issues with getting this mod to play online? Seems its the only mod of 10 that I tried to load onto an HH server that doesn't allow me to join my server (loaded mods one at a time, this is the one that doesn't work). Thoughts?

Yeah I understand. The mod is genuinely great, the tracks are really fun, so I want to help improve it with reporting the things that slipped through. Kinda make me want to get the actual NSR game :) I can't get enough of racing on these tracks in the Sandstorm, fits the theme so well :FOXLOVE:

You're right because I renamed only 3 of the 4 CPs to align with the reverse version (only thing you can't rename to not add a .001 is the routes) the fourth one acts as the first one after driving past the first one twice. Bugs I don't see because I barely play the maps anymore I know how the AI follows the route I don't even have to look at them anymore, at least for not for several laps, and such bugs do slip through.

just confirmin the changes... just one thing. While the Hotrusk Reverse finish line issue was fixed, I don't get why you moved it to a point halfway through the lap. It can be easily put under the starting lights ( https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/672698051051126784/978084613350117416/unknown.png , highlighted red).

Sorry if I sound pedantic or nitpicky btw, just genuinely trying to help :guheart:

I just had rigid camera and enhanced minimap... I doubt they mess with #speedup.

Disable mods that break #speedup, it's not that uncommon as it turns out. C 164 barely makes the biggest one it breaks the camera already.

Fixed those 3 things, not sure if the bridge was intended to be that low but you can't drive monster trucks in the original. Fun fact it wasn't the bridge that has collision (it has now) but the people standing on it you crashed into.

*addition: More issues found when playtesting with AI:
- Jump It Up - 1st-6th on the grid are very spaced out and far ahead of the rest of the field. ( https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/728708466952241192/977568987401572352/unknown.png ). Think it would be possible to alter it so the grid is more even like on the Reverse version?
- Hotrusk Reverse pt.1 - the finish checkpoint is in the middle of the grid (between 17th and 18th). 1-17 start past the checkpoint and have to drive one extra lap before to get it, so P18 effectively starts first.
- Hotrusk Reverse pt.2 - the pedestrian bridge can sometimes be hit when jumping ( https://medal.tv/games/wreckfest/clips/lGCwqTzz4gMeY/d1337yPcFV1y?invite=cr-MSxRSTUsMzQ0ODU1MzQs ). Would it be possible to move it or remove it?

So the camera issue can't be fixed then?

On another note, seeing the missing tracks, Eagles park would work well I think. Twisted iron would be very difficult to get working properly indeed, but EP looks possible

It is either that OR the camera doesn't follow the back of the car and it slowly returns to normal after passing, in Reverse you hit the wall faster than the camera adjusted it's the game's fault for thinking the car is airborne when all the way up the looping. I've had without "Is Loop" before but both variants have issues.

The only issue I found was on Loopings. When in chase cam, the camera starts to uncontrollably shake when reaching the top of the biggest looping. Cockpit and hood cams are not affected by this.

The map files are just openable, the textures I had to rip and apply manually. Of course excluding deleting the low LOD version that's overlapping and not easily removed.

Outstanding work, would love to see twisted iron even tho it wouldn't work. there are some parts in which you could improvise duplicating the pipe parts and making it effectively a remix version, i would still like to see the vanilla ver tho.

Oh also, how did you rip them? Would love to port them to TrackMania.

New map might take some time I started merging textures and it'll require redoing of all the subscene locations and texture assignment resulting in a single object folder and frames saved hopefully. Red Run next btw.

That's lovely, working on the reverse version now and the actual mountains in the background they're optimized but the grass isn't. Might release it tomorrow the game does have nice textures and ambience.

*update* I got it to work, I unsubscribed, re-subscribed, then verified game files (all were fine) then loaded it up and it worked. So maybe something happened in the initial download the first time. By the war, the map and track look awesome on a RTX 3090! ;)

The cars certainly not original is faster (it always is wreckfest grip is annoying), the flying stuff is faster because every frame in animation increases the chance of it breaking. Counting the seconds the plane takes then copying it over to frames is albeit realistic but when this isn't even technically allowed to port I'd rather prefer the speed path before I go ahead and micromanage it all. I get stuck on that easily too I'm working on dealing with these tiny things.

Very nicely made for Wreckfest. All I can say is the ground SFX (i.e. tyre skids and dirt crunches) are not present, including the smoke when skidding on tarmac. But overall, very good.
