I don't think it would cause conflicts or crashes. Of course, I can't guarantee that, but this mod tries to not forcibly step on anything the vanilla game or other mods might do.
- 0 items: 3.18% (was 3.77%, decreased, -0.59%)
- 1 item: 24.57% (was 32.35%, decreased, -7.78%)
- 2 items: 55.49% (was 51.8%, increased, +3.69%)
- 3 items: 15.32% (was 11.6%, increased, +3.72%,)
- 4 items: 1.45% (was 0.54%, increased, +0.91%)
Bottom line: changes aren't close to my mod and they weren't changed much compared to before 1.7.9, but they are still there.
Here's some proof: https://imgur.com/a/1WV6Emj
"Four Items" and "Three Beggars (Edit)" as seen in the console are the names of some of the rooms from my mod. I gave each devil deal room in my mod an identifiable name so I know if I'm making it into them. This was entering those deals naturally after beating the extra greed wave.
Perhaps you just got really unlucky, but if you're still certain you're not getting my deals, then I'll double check to see that the update to Greed mode got uploaded correctly to the Workshop. I'd find it unlikely, but there's a chance it somehow didn't update the new files.
@darkly77 Thanks so much! That'll be very helpful for adding options to this. I've not been playing Isaac lately all that much so I kinda left this mod on the side for a bit until now, so I'll get started on giving players options they may want as per some of the feedback.
If you'd like a point of reference for MCM, one of my mods has it on github:
https://github.com/ithinkandicode/Binding-of-Isaac-Mods/blob/main/Host%20Drops%20Host%20Hat/host-drops-host-hat/main.lua
The code might change so here's the commits that added it.
First commit - Adds support for saving/loading data (as MCM options are saved by the mod itself):
https://github.com/ithinkandicode/Binding-of-Isaac-Mods/commit/abc3b77704a54741f5488d0d89c196d2d46f129d
Second commit - Adds support for MCM:
https://github.com/ithinkandicode/Binding-of-Isaac-Mods/commit/34cc91f8082350a0a51f6e86221fe7bc8a586011
I'll look into this. I don't know much about MCM's internal functionality, and I'm not sure how or if it would work for changing the probabilities of each of my rooms, so it might take a bit, but I'll try my best.
honestly my mod was something i originally just made for me and my discord but i decided to release it publicly after a bit. so i wasnt really planning on updating or changing it anyhow.
So again good to see this! thanks for the credit!
And I'm sick of having my hopes up for godhead on the 4th or 5th floor just to get breath of life
