Super fun map. Only died like once or twice. Nothing feels unfair and unbalanced, and there weren't any stuttering or hitching. Secrets are nice too, and the ammo upgrades were a nice addition. Each arena felt very refreshing and had that classic Serious Sam feel to it. Keep up the good work :TheSeriousBomb:

Fantastic map. The only issue was monsters spawning near skill points and considering you cannot cancel the animation of sam crushing the purple ball, you usually die if you're caught by surprise. So my advice is to make skill points safer to pick up.

i want to apologize for my harsh comment
idk why but NSK's resource manager gave me x2 enemies, deleted knife and didn't increase ammo, all this time I thought modders were so sick
but in the end the problem was in me xd

For whatever reason when I play on Serious difficulty on x11 multiplier, there's this bug going where before I enter the sandstorm area the Processed won't stop spawning and it goes on for a long time and it still hasn't ended yet. Can you please look into that?

@leatherman Let's see, there are 10 biomech minors, 17 werebulls in total, and 5 biomech majors; they take a combined of 54 rockets in total (without headshots). You get 60 rockets in total from the pickups and the Rocket Launcher. I just played the starting area again and ended up with 10 spare rockets (I wasn't even trying to conserve them). Maybe make your shots count? Maybe manage your rockets for when you need them?

Even still, I added an extra rocket pickup there that spawns on lower than Serious difficulty. I hope that helps.

the game starts with a crowd of bulls coming at you and you have few missiles then a crowd of mechs but still no missiles
do you propose to shoot them for 10 minutes with a pistol? you are a hardcore-ass
you should made not so boring beginning and it will be better to play

only with cheats on weapons i can play it normally :steamthumbsdown:

Absolutely incredible. Proves that you can still have "thinky-shooty" action like the classics with the experimental features thrown into SS4 (skill points, gadgets) :)

ENG. Decent this version map which the authors fix the balance of the crowd of enemies and a lot of shortcomings compared to the old version, though there are fewer enemies and you can make competent spawns with increasing increase from weak to strong enemies, similar to the old version, but not a bunch of enemies, otherwise there are enough ammo or I I know how to save + for the first time in this custom map Inventory Upgrade appeared to increase ammunition and save them for weapons, something like a bandolier and making it seem like Serious ur. difficulties like from Classic Sams, they can be bypassed to complicate the game

That's neat how you put it this way, but I would suggest adding the laser beam add-on to the laser gun as it will add more life into it. I hope this becomes a campaign!

@Pop Smoke the 2nd Thanks! Glad you enjoyed. There is no minigun in The Arena because I wanted to give the spotlight to the lasergun (very under-utilized in SS4). And there are more maps incoming indeed (campaign maybe?).

This map was absolutely excellent! It was quite challenging on serious difficulty but in the end, I got through it, and always welcome a challenge! I would suggest that you add the mini-gun before the arena because the AR kinda seemed useless as I really used the Rocket Launcher and the FRPCL. Great job on the map and hopefully there's a part 2!

@dberry100 Congrats on beating the level! It is indeed intended to be a VERY hard level, that was the point (while still making it fair and fun). Thus, more points to you for beating it (regardless of difficulty).

Hi, I just played your level... Assault on the fortress. Actually, I've been playing it for about a week. Talk about frustrating... I tried it on Hard setting (where I normally play Serious Sam) and I was getting beaten badly. I lowered the difficulty but was still getting nowhere. I was about ready to give up, thinking this level designer has just made an impossible cruel joke that nobody can get through. I found a youtube video where one of your fans played the whole thing. Inspired again, I gave it another shot. I paid my money for Serious Sam 4 and I want to beat this level. Bye Golly I did it! You've got some creative stuff in there like the cannons shooting at you towards the end game.
I enjoyed your level very much.

I added a temporary fix to the problem with the boss. The enemy strength multipliers are what is causing this problem. It works perfectly without extra strength multipliers.

Same problem here. After shooting down all targets at fortress the boss life bar remains at half.
No chance to shoot it further down. Endless monsters spawn and there is no way to finish map.
We tested it twice in online coop.

we tested it twice. we shot down all the targets at the end of the map in co-op mode. the boss life bar was at half nothing happened except that endless monsters spawned
