@bblahblahbal Thanks for having a look. The modlist I'm using can be found here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3437226453 , and the issue happens in Multiplayer. I didn't have a proper single player world to test on, and using the same character and another random world only dropped me pre-boss tokens, so it might be a multiplayer issue?

That is very strange. I haven't had this issue at all... can't replicate it. Don't know what could even be causing it tbh. I have been playing Avalon+Thorium and Tokens and no issues.

Having the same issue with tokens being broken and not dropping correctly (post-plantera tokens dropping in the dungeon way before plantera for example)

@Circles that's strange. I was just playing with this mod the other day and it was working fine lol. I'll look at it when I get some time.

I think tokens are broken atm. Im getting tokens that shouldnt be possible in my run. Crimson tokens in a corruption world and i havent even been in a corruption biome. ocean tokens in the desert. post skeletron tokens and weve only killed the eye. playing with calamity mod and some others

What do these drop from?

Hello, is this mod updated for 1.4.4.9 / tmodLoader 1.24.12.3.1? I am trying to install it to my server but its not installing for some reason and shows in my logs as "Debug"

@Prisma Can you list all of these recipes? I kinda forgot they were even in the mod lmao, since I just ported it. I'll likely remove them as they aren't really, well, Tokens soooo... haha

I use this mod a lot, and I do enjoy the Tokens part, but something that bothers me is the immense amount of jank recipes. For example, Life Fruits being obtainable Pre-Mech, and the Biome Chest weapons being available as soon as you enter HM - Just Shimmer one key and combine the resulting Chest with another key and suddenly, you have the Biome Chest weapon.

Honestly, I would be fine with a simple config that allows you to disable extra Token recipes that don't involve Tokens.

Yes, I am aware that it does this. I've fixed it but keep forgetting to upload lol. I'll get around to it when I do (and like I said before, just refrain from using it).

Tokens are upgraded when they are thrown into the Shimmer

Seconding the whole 'tokens getting upgraded' thing. Perhaps you could disable the downgrade recipes and then have it so you need to shimmer to downgrade? Or have some other process for downgrading that isn't crafting, and then have special 'shimmer' recipes to upgrade old tokens to be more 'in-date' so you don't have a bunch of post-goblins ones when you're in HM and could do with HM tokens, locked behind the progression point?

Or maybe special shimmer recipes lock decrafts? Either could work

@Zenith Edge do you have the old recipes mod enabled as well? This mod makes the tokens not drop.

heya, i have noticed that the shimmer upgrades tokens, meaning that you can get post-moon lord items at the very beginning of a world by just locating the aether

also, snow tokens don't seem to drop at all

Tokens are okay on my side of the mods. One nitpick I notice for Journey mode is that Post-Plantera tokens seem like the only tokens that cannot be researched. I'm not sure about other tokens but it's worth checking in case more are not researchable.

@Dede that's why. The Tokens Old Recipes mod disables tokens from dropping and makes everything craftable from vanilla Terraria items instead of the tokens.

Hey, I'm trying to use the mod but I think It doesn't drop me any tokens, even the pre-hardmode ones. How can you help me to see if It's working? Because I see the tokens are on the recipe browser mod.

@Varrxion yeah there are a few issues I need to work out at some point. I'll probably look at it sometime soon haha.

Firstly, thanks for porting this, very cool. Secondly, I am farming for crimson tokens (in the crimson) but none are dropping, I am just getting the generic post-goblin tokens rather than the crimson tokens. I do have a fair amount of mods but other than calamity they are not small and should probably not interfere.
