It's probably because there are not many local troops available to you around that rally point
Both AI and player are affected
Thank you for the suggestion. I'll play around with the values to see if it helps.
There's a section on raid defines. If you do a Ctrl + f search and enter COUNTER_RAID_MIN_DISTANCE
that should bring you right to it. You'd likely want to change the max distance to make it shorter. I imagine the vassal_counter variable would help too, but I could swear i've never seen a duke or count defend their own lands. So.
Fort Level 4
__________Raid time (days)
Troops____ New_____ Vanilla_____ Ratio
2000______ 105______ 44________240%
4000_______53_______ 29_______ 180%
8000_______26 _______18 _______140%
_________________Loot per Holding 170%
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Unfortunately, after some research, I still couldn't find a way to force AI to stop gathering. As you suggested, it would be quite problematic when defending against raiders.
Do you think a much longer raiding time along with proportionally increased loot per holding could be a temporary solution?
