Scopes did exist for these weapons, after all muskets of the Civil War period were rifled and much more accurate than you would think.

well see a musket is not modern rifle so adding a scope would be futile

Nice mod here, I always wanted a mod that adds a weapon like this, and I really enjoy it, but it would be cool if there is an more easy way to repair the rifle itself, as you need another one to do it, and it's also by chances so its really risky and tedious, why not making a recipe that allows you to use related materials with also the required skills as metalworking, aiming and reload to repair it?

By far the most innovative item around. I have been using this since its release and in all honesty, this is the most gun ever. Its beauty,structure, and symbol is what make it stand out. I have said this once but i will say this again: this is the most gun ever.

Oh ok, i thought it was based off of the kentucky rifle, which if it was, would be really cool to spawn in the museum, or art gallery, on the wall, and you can use the pick up tool on it, and make a crafting recipe to turn it from decoration, to actual gun. and vice versa.

Errr. I haven't done any scripting for zomboid to make the gun have a rarity tab though Its kinda tedious scrolling down through it's scripting api. And I intend it to be really rare since I don't think kentucky has a vast amount of whitworth rifles since this one is owned by the brits If I am right.

With the crafting idea ehh, I think I'll consider.

I have gone into debug, and searched every gunstore/ pawn shop/ police station in louisville with britas weapon pack on, and only found 1 Witworth rifle, if there is going to be another update, could you make it so that there is a specific tab for it in the sandbox options for its rarity? or make it so that you could craft the gun, and have it be expensive, like 2 logs, metal pipe, and 2 metal scrap, also have to have a welding mask, saw and propane torch in your inventory, and it be worse than the one you find.

I just did it again and still no gun! I can craft rounds, just cant find the gun. I removed all of my mods, except for this one, and started another new save. Im gonna go into debug mode to see if it tells me whats wrong.

According to the PZ modding community, its not possible at the moment. Probably custom particle effects would be possible when the Fire Rework happens on the game.
