Just a question to the modders. Will it be possible for a mod to set a victory condion in coop. For example "the first team to reach condiotion xy will win" An this will trigger the victory screen. Would be so cool to just set a personal goal and it will trigger a multiplayer victory

I deleted my previous comment before I realized you were replying to me, sorry! Yes, I am new to using mods, so I didn't do it right. It wasn't able to save my old campaign, but we have a new one going and it says the victory condition is 999 settlements. Really appreciate you!

I'll let you know if me and my other friend experience any strange issues with our current collection. But I hope to god we don't. Its felt like ages of trying to find one that does this.

They completely changed how RoC victories are being scripted so atm this mod is dead until I can get some expert help from other modders.

If I can't figure it out I will delete this mod otherwise stay tuned yall.

Yeah it's because CA changed the functionality of CONTROL_N_REGIONS_INCLUDING from game 3 to game 2 which is causing this bug. I am hoping it will be fixed with IME and the victory objectives overhaul. Right now its behaviour is inconsistent. You may have to capture 9, 10 or even all 16 objectives before the victory will trigger.

Hi, great mod! I just wanted to let you know that I encountered a bug in my Skarbrand Campaign. I didnt get a campaign victory before I had taken control over all 16 of the listed settlements, even though the text said 8 was required

My bad, it's working now. I've restarted the mod menu in the launcher. And I was first confused since the objectives were translated into my native language, so I thought it wasn't a mod. All good now, thanks !

Hello, first thanks for the mod. I wanted to try it, but when I start a new campaign, I don't see any of the new victory objectives written anywhere

I'm also using the mod that desactivates rifts. Am I doing something wrong ?

Well, i finally controled 3 of the cities (like in the victory conditions), but when i took a fourth city (Nuln), after ending the turn, it considered as a victory.
The cities are still not ticked and the number of 3 isn't correct but it works with 4 !

Anyway, seems we forgot to thank you for this great job ; as i said, this mod would be a must have if it worked, because like a lot of people i use the no rift mod but the domination victory is just too too long, especially in a binar world like in tww3.

I will try to continue my game and take Kislev, the missing city in my game and let you know if when we have the 5 cities under control, it works or not.

Guys there is essentially a problem with the victory condition itself possibly being buggy. The one that ticks every box individually only works for capturing ALL settlements, whereas the other one seems to be inconsistent with the number of settlements required (like it ignores the number put in).

I will do a fresh battery of tests when the victory condition overhaul comes out next month to get to the bottom of this.

I noticed a similar problem with Nurgle and the norse dwarf settlement, though I'm using somewhere around 70 mods, so I'm not sure if any of them could be causing conflicts

I confirm, it doesn't work for Slaanesh. Too bad because this mod would be a must have until Immortal Empires is released !

For details, for the 3 cities we need, even when we control them, the name is not ticked, unlike the other objectives. I think the problem comes from here !

I am underwhelmed with the victory conditions they revealed today. Their short victory conditions are a step in the right direction. A short goal with a unique objective specific to the subfaction. Perfect. But the long victory objective is a massive difficulty/time spike and only faction specific, not subfaction specific. And of course, domination victory is just insane. Does anyone ever bother painting a map more than once or twice?

My plan going forward is to (a) make the long victory objectives easier and subfaction specific. They will be continuations of the themes of the short victory conditions. Consider them medium victory conditions. And the domination victory objective I will try to change into a long victory objective (though subfaction specific, not faction specific), if the game's code allows me to do so.

Hey there, with N'Kari, I destroyed Skarbrand and Laurelorn Forest, Laurelorn is under my direct control, and I control 4 of the 5 cities needed for the other objective, but I get no victory ending. What do you think I should do?

I tested owning 9 capitals (not military ally) ended turn and it definitely worked.

Okay man, I ran a test and it was because I was using CONTROL_N_REGIONS_FROM instead of CONTROL_N_REGIONS_INCLUDING, which I have patched. But that won't affect your save.

But I captured a ninth base (Karak Kadrin) then the objective completed, then I ended turn, and victory screen appeared next turn.

So you should be able to get victory if you capture one more base. And I have patched it to be 8 for future players.

Yeah. Franz and company are paste. Only 'empire' alive are my Ally Nuln is alive with their capitol and Ostlanders. I own Altdorf, Mari, Sylvania/Draken, Erengrad, Middenland, and the Wood Elf settlement (who are also destroyed).
Hellpit (another objective) is owned by my other military ally.

Could the tooltip be off and I need to personally own 8 of the Capitols or are all of them listed (more than 8) necessary in the code?

Skrag's victory conditions seem to be bugged. Holding 8 of the Capitols with no victory popup.

"Revamped victory conditions. Most players don’t end up finishing campaigns, and we want to give them better reasons—and a greater level of satisfaction—for doing so. As such, we’ve simplified the victory requirements into more meaningful objectives while avoiding any arbitrary playstyle requirements."

Unless the revamp is complete garbage, looks like this mod may not be needed in the future when the combined map comes out. We'll see.
