the only thing the update does is remove the "outdated" info. I don't have the game installed to do that at the moment. I might do that at some point but the mod has always worked and will continue to work unless CA completely changes how the engine works. (which they won't)
Thanks for your mod again.
just tested a new thorgrim campaign with only this mod and no mod manager. it works.
remember that ANY other mod OR EVEN a mod manager can break ALL mods.
That might be, i don't test with mod managers because that is not what the most people use and I cannot test every case.
Before I try, I just wanted to say that it might have something to do with Prop Joe’s Mod Manager.
I was trying "News UI Begone!" mod the other day and even though it worked before, suddenly it doesn’t with mentioned mod manager. But when I try it with CA’s default manager, it loads just fine.
If it’s the same case here, it could be just something wrong with that particular mod manager.
Then I added old world and that also works.
Make sure you REALLY have no other mods or changes to the game. Validate the files with steam or redownload it.
yeah that is not what this mod does, this mod just removes the fog. As far as I know what you described requires "meeting" the faction, which has a lot of implications and cannot be undone.
Quick answer: Little to no performance impact.
Long answer: Depends on what you do. The mod let's you see things you normally wouldn't but you still only see what is on screen. So if you look at a space where you normally would see everything anyway, no difference. But looking at a space that is visible because of the mod obviously has your pc render that space. But that is the same behaviour as if you move a unit there and get vision that way.
Just tested it again. Belegar in Old World and Vanilla game works.
The problem lies elsewhere. If you have ANY other mod enabled, disable them and try again.
If it is an ongoing campaign it could also be Old World itself. I don't know how that mod works and if they use scripts but any mod with script errors can silently break any other mod.
mod works in orld world. I just tested it with only:
- mixus unlocker
- old world
- toggle fog of war
check your other mods.
No idea, I don't play that map. But it should. Only one way to find out.
Sounds like a script error from another mod. start a new realms of chaos campaign with only this mod (to see that it works), then start reenabling your other mods to find the faulty one.
No, it only let's you see. But in gameplay mechanic terms nothing has changed, you have not met anyone new.
that is either a base game issue or something that is only visible because you see the world without fog which you normally shouldn't. In both cases it's an issue that I can't do anything about.
Is something not working?
It's the only mod I have installed but no button shows up top left.
I play immortal empires if that helps.
I was to quick to reply on it.
So, this mod works on 4.0 / 4.0.1.
Sorry for inconvision.
