@Mr.Gulag Yeah you're 100% right although the breeds used was a duplicate of the ARC troopers from a mod that I had activated at the time when creating the map and I had no Idea at the time. Reason I've not revisited this mod to fix it's issues is because I planned to create some custom characters to replace them, I've just not had the time to as of yet because I'm swamped with other modding projects.

hey sorry if im beating a dead horse here, but the reason the arcs are skeletons for people could be caused because they're custom breeds, not the missing skins. if the breed file isnt included in the map download, that is likely the issue

there also was the mission where the 501st boarded the Tantive IV in search of the death star plans, there was also the mission where they put down a prison riot on the death star

@chronicvarigon a theed map could be done yes, the storm troopers would have to be equipped with fletchett launchers from the jedi knight games not sure why but they're effective for killing jedi in this game. Maybe the devs went with the lore with how projectiles are effective against lightsabers, there's also grenades, flamethrowers and melee to. but yeah that's a great idea for a cool mission.

I hear where you are coming from, the unfortunate limitations of a WWII simulator are that it does not have the relevant, support necessary to simulate truly accurate Urban Warfare, or the floors and ceilings, etc, etc, oh well, at least some of the more conventional battles are possible to recreate, such as the battle of Jabiim, I figure the battle of theed could possibly work, I mean the on mission from battlefront II where the Queen was harboring fugitive Jedi

@chronicvarigon and yeah I Qel-Dromas tomb In the clone wars game, it was pretty epic for the time playing as Mace Windu mowing down armies of droids on thuel. ATM though I've been working on a campaign and creating custom skins for the characters as well as some skins for someone else who's making a campaign so I'm pretty swamped for the time being LOL.

@chronicvarigon yeah it's just there's issues with creating multi-story building compositions due to there not being any objects that act as floors?ceilings. Asked the devs about it and they said the Gem editor isn't designed that way, yet a highly requested feature. only work around I've found is concrete floor in the warhammer mod but that would mean players would have to download both mods which would require a big chunk of GB space. It's either that or altering the design of the map, getting rid of the rooms inside the citadel that had command posts in them but that could mess with the flow of the map since a big major aspect of its design was the vertical warfare and flanking positions.

I feel like if I had been the commander of the droid forces, i would have had them digging literal trenches, and constructing pillboxes and bunkers, perhaps a couple of case-mates as well

Thanks, man, I haven't played the original battlefront in years, but yeah, the Rhen Var citadel map would admittedly be a most impressive accomplishment to accomplish, on Rhen var their was also the tomb of Jedi Master Ulic-Qel Droma

@chronicvarigon You mean Ren Var citadel I did consider making that structure and combining it with the harbour into one big map; it might possible but it would come with many complications, even if it was a separate map.

I wonder if a castle type siege mission would work, with rebel troops, in this case separatist sympathizers, entrenched inside and on top of the ramparts, or even a D-Day style assault against deeply entrenched droids, dug into the rocks and cliffs overlooking the Republic landing area

@1zark strange because I used the arc lieutenant skins included in the GAW mod. I do have the munnilist 10 pack which could be the issue, give that a download on the workshop and let me know if the issue is resolved so I know if I should add it to the requirements; I'd appreciate that a lot.

I'm currently working on a skin pack containing dedicated sergeant & corporals (for each GAR branch) also different arc ranks and custom characters for future missions. I'll add some custom skins for those arc troopers in particular, when its finished and uploaded to the workshop I'll edit them into the mission.

@chronicvarigon Thank you my dude! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I did have a thought to add a droid counter attack commanded by a dark acolyte (using the nightsister skin) at the end of the mission with a crate full of sandbag kits to rebuild defences. The story was gonna be that she wanted to uncover dark side artefacts in the ruins. If I have time I may add it to the mission later on but currently I'm working on a campaigns worth of missions.

@SoloMasterChief that seems strange. I removed the original file from my MOWAS2 folder and subscribed so I could see it from the perspective of anyone that downloads the map/mission and it works perfectly for me. I have an idea why the skybox texture isn't showing up but I'm wondering if you can see snow falling during the mission?

@grimmer Thanks man and I agree but It's the same with other snow maps, you could change the textures or environment in the editor if you want. I do have a bunch of ideas e.g a jedi purge campaign where it play's out order 66 with a variety of objectives to keep it entertaining and a nice jedi boss fight to complement them. So the planets I'm thinking of at the moment would be Mygeeto (although I'm trying to figure out how to make the bridges between the platforms) Felucia, Cato Nemodia, Saleucami, Kashyyyk, Utapau (I have a very cool idea for this, may have to find a texture for the back ground though.) and coruscant. I have a few stand alone map/mission ideas like battle of naboo droids vs gungans, then it might pan out to the naboo royal guard retaking theed. The other is a Geonosis map similar to EA BFII.
