Oh sweet! This was great to use so good to know it still works - or should haha :WH3_greasus_rofl:

my degree of confidence without testing is 85% chance it is working and isn't causing crashes

Hey guys - This is still working right? Trying to sort out my mod list :(
WarMachineGreen 30 Aug, 2022 @ 1:14pm

@WarMachineGreen I only gave the ability to units that have the vanilla cloud of flies do chosen and chaos warriors have the vanilla one? I don't have the new dlc so I didn't look for them. I will make a submod that gives both the vanilla and this mod to the new altered marauders and chosen of nurgle
WarMachineGreen 30 Aug, 2022 @ 11:03am
I dont see the cloud of flies with chaos warriors and chosen, alteast not on the tooltip.

@WarMachineGreen mod updated to function with the new units that got the vanilla cloud of flies
All is Dust  [author] 30 Aug, 2022 @ 3:25am
Yes I can do that, let me see
WarMachineGreen 30 Aug, 2022 @ 1:27am
any chance you can add this to the chosen and chaos warriors of nurgle?
All is Dust  [author] 26 Aug, 2022 @ 5:25am
It's now working for Immortal Empires.

THANK YOU for this mod as it was absolutely ridiculous the literal manifestations of festering rebirth are able to be shot down by a line of peasant bowmen.

Thank you for your answer dear guy.

@cogssystem it hasn't yet passed a year where I start learning modding from scratch, Cryswar guides are very good place to start if you have doubts go to da modding den https://discord.gg/PTRXXuYj . You only need to instal RPFM open my mod there and change the value 9 to something else and save. My mod is the file "vigpro_cloud_of_flies_missile_resistance.pack" (I used the number 9 because it's nurgle's number)
cogssystem 7 May, 2022 @ 4:00pm
Oh. I didn't knew that rule. I understand.

Maybe my 20 % is too high.

Well, maybe it's only to talk about it :
In Total War games, missile are broken. And Nurgle factions are very slow and even nurgle life pool is a poor counterpart to missile damage. I was thinking that it was too unfair that a few low coast kossars could ravage so much my nurgle tier 2 or tier 3 units. The worst is in settlement attack when you must break many wall units to reach many ranged units. They just ruins you the few miniutes you are doing prowess to break the unit walls.

Maybe 15 % missile resistance inside or maybe outside of melee is rationnal and fair. Don't you think so ?

(I know absolutelly nothing about modding, what to do and where. I just know how to play).
All is Dust  [author] 7 May, 2022 @ 3:33pm
@cogssystem I could but it's not something that I would play with, and as a rule I only create mods that I will play with. But it is very easy to do, and you could do it instead.
cogssystem 7 May, 2022 @ 3:07pm
Hi mate.
Could you create a mod with 20 % permanent missile resistence for all nurgle units ? (all factions)
All is Dust  [author] 10 Apr, 2022 @ 2:09pm
@Faba think of the flies has not being able to do two things at once so they either help in melee or help against ranged they can't do both.
Faba 10 Apr, 2022 @ 12:14pm
I think it would be more balanced if the effect was activated in melee but a 20% missile resist. That way enemy armies can focus fire nurgle units and exploit their slow movement, while punishing them if they get caught out
ArchAnge1LT 8 Apr, 2022 @ 4:38am
Thank you so much. Could you increase it a bit to 15%-20% or duplicate the mod that does that?
XIII07 8 Apr, 2022 @ 12:52am
Yea, that's the way nurgle should be. I even think somewhere between 20% and 10% would be appropiate right now
Haknoes 7 Apr, 2022 @ 11:37am
Seems like a balance solution! Nice.
