No Local Populace Corruption

I think another way to explain it (correct me if I'm wrong), is certain regions have a local populace that have corruption. That means they'll always be this amount of corruption that you can't remove, and you'll need buildings to negate, where most regions don't have any local populace that has corruption

@Mortarch Of Blood It's the other way around--local populace affects corruption. In many regions there'll always be a factor of positive corruption due to local populace. This mod removes that, so every region is "neutral" in terms of corruption.

How does corruption affect local populace exactly? Does it lower growth and decrease public order or is there more?
Fequois  [author] 19 Apr, 2024 @ 11:55am
It's made for the TWW3 campaign and Immortal Empires. I don't know if The Old World reuses any of those files, but test it out and see. It's not going to crash or anything.

Is this map specific? i.e. did you mod the applicable provinces or the mechanic as a whole? Wondering if it would work on the Old World mod campaign.
SIGMAR GAMING 2 Apr, 2023 @ 6:38am
hm alright, thank you.
Fequois  [author] 1 Apr, 2023 @ 10:59pm
Lord Horrik, many provinces in the game have a permanent +1/+2/+3 to a specific type of corruption that is thematic with that area or the starting owning faction.

This mod removes that.

You'll be able to deal with public order as Skaven relatively easily if you play on normal. Just don't expand too quickly and focus a little on your infrastructure. :)
SIGMAR GAMING 1 Apr, 2023 @ 5:38pm
what is the local populace corruption mechanic? sorry i'm just new to this game and want to get rid of corruption so i can play skaven without order problems.
Fequois  [author] 21 Jan, 2023 @ 8:29am
The Adversary, I'm sorry but I don't have time at the moment.
The Adversary 21 Jan, 2023 @ 5:38am
is there a possibility that u can make a mod that gives MORE corruption (since i like to play chaos, skaven, vamps etc) soo i would like to be able to paint the world
Beep 13 Oct, 2022 @ 9:24pm
possible to make no corruption for certain graphics? Like no vampiric corruption but leave the rest?
Fequois  [author] 8 Oct, 2022 @ 11:47am
I understand what you're after. I don't think I have time to make it, but I'll keep it in mind next time I have some downtime.
Cipher 8 Oct, 2022 @ 11:23am
Yeah other than the agent building that would reduce corruption. I prefer to use corruption as a strategy to use or overcome than the vanilla which has made it useless.
Fequois  [author] 8 Oct, 2022 @ 10:21am
What do you mean Cipher? Are you asking for a mod to remove "untainted" from most buildings?
Cipher 8 Oct, 2022 @ 8:49am
I think only special buildings should offer protection against corruption and agents. Right now corruption is nerfed massively in vanilla. If I want to push corruption with vampires into other territory its extremely hard to.

Hello Fequois.

I usually don't ask to much to the TW modder community, and I don't know if you have the patience for it...
Could you create 2 mods ?

1/ Giving to all type of Lords of the game the trait besieger.
2/ Making that when an ennemy army occupy (or raze, etc) your settlement, that you get your money back if you were actually building something in it.
Cataphract 29 Aug, 2022 @ 2:46am
thx!
Fequois  [author] 29 Aug, 2022 @ 12:36am
Chozer 28 Aug, 2022 @ 1:39pm
they seem to have fixed this issue in game 3 but could be wrong
Cataphract 28 Aug, 2022 @ 10:34am
Nice mod, start at zero corruption would be also useful, because most of my campaigns I play with shuffeled starting position
Fequois  [author] 28 Aug, 2022 @ 2:54am
Hey Gury, indeed I have. I'll certainly look into this!
Gury 28 Aug, 2022 @ 12:55am
Can you make a mod as NO VISIBLE CORRUPTION, If I'm not mistaken you done one for Warhammer 2, l do like the corruption mechanic it's just ruining all the beauty.
Fequois  [author] 27 Aug, 2022 @ 8:25am
Ah, I see! Thank you for letting me know. :)
cogssystem 27 Aug, 2022 @ 6:49am
Hello Fequois.

I got the initial corruption yesterday.
I made changes with mods but I don't think it comes from that. I think IE BETA made the job they got to do, hehe.

Thank you for your answer, and also for your useful mod mate.
Fequois  [author] 26 Aug, 2022 @ 11:42pm
Hi ccogssystem! That's strange, but I deliberately chose NOT to do that.

Can you test and start a new game and disable only this mod (and leave all others running) to see if you see a difference?
cogssystem 26 Aug, 2022 @ 6:53pm
Hello Fequois.

I started a few new campaigns in IE, and I can see that there is never initial corruption anywhere (I want it so), but I don't know if it's a choice from CA for IE, or if you recently made it like that ?
I'm just talking about initial corruption, not local populace mechanics.
Voice of Cheesin' 23 Aug, 2022 @ 9:34am
Thank you so much!
Fequois  [author] 23 Aug, 2022 @ 7:18am
In typical Steam fashion, the mod refuses to update the "updated date".

Either way, you CAN use the mod in Immortal Empires.
Fequois  [author] 11 Aug, 2022 @ 11:06am
@SpaGhetto Absolutely!
Voice of Cheesin' 8 Aug, 2022 @ 8:17pm
Are you planning to update this for Immortal Empires. I love this mod!
Raziel 14 Jul, 2022 @ 7:43pm
No worries, the fact that you're even considering looking into it is a huge deal to me, take your time :)
Fequois  [author] 14 Jul, 2022 @ 10:54am
Unfortunately I don't have time until at least early next week to look into it. :(
Raziel 14 Jul, 2022 @ 6:54am
Just confirmed, disabling only Radious makes your mod work, so its inompatible with Radious. Unfortunately, the load order does not fix this issue, so I'm not sure what to do :(
Raziel 14 Jul, 2022 @ 4:36am
Can do, I'll use the mod that allows me to change starting settlement so I can easily see if its there or not
Fequois  [author] 13 Jul, 2022 @ 10:28pm
If you have the patience, please try to make a new game with ONLY this mod active and see if it works.
Raziel 13 Jul, 2022 @ 8:07am
I did just realize that Castle Drakenhof has a local populace effect of 5, and max corruption only removes 5, so its stuck at 100% vampiric. So this mod is needed after all, but it still won't work for me :(
Fequois  [author] 12 Jul, 2022 @ 11:28am
Yes, it makes more sense as a gameplay element in this installment.

Let me know if I can help in the future.

@Crimson Thank you!
Raziel 11 Jul, 2022 @ 11:29am
Loaded it above Radious and it still doesn't work, but its okay, I've learnt that it isn't as hard to deal with coompared to WH2, but thanks anyways :)
Crimson 11 Jul, 2022 @ 10:08am
amazing job!
Fequois  [author] 9 Jul, 2022 @ 10:27am
It's quite possible it isn't. I haven't checked.

Please try to load this mod above Radious and see if it works.
Raziel 8 Jul, 2022 @ 12:24pm
Then I'm not sure why its not working then, I guess it might not be compatible with Radious
Fequois  [author] 8 Jul, 2022 @ 11:01am
It does work on existing saves.
Raziel 4 Jul, 2022 @ 8:09am
I guess it doesn't work on existing saves?
CloneAssassin 2 Jul, 2022 @ 1:55am
ah ok, thank you
Fequois  [author] 2 Jul, 2022 @ 1:22am
It's because I haven't made any changes to the mod since the last game update (as none are needed).
CloneAssassin 2 Jul, 2022 @ 12:53am
but why is the status in the launcher triangle?
CloneAssassin 2 Jul, 2022 @ 12:51am
thank you for the reply
Fequois  [author] 1 Jul, 2022 @ 11:06am
@CloneAssassin No update needed.
CloneAssassin 30 Jun, 2022 @ 9:49am
update?
