Pre-Patch 1.0 has changed how status and meds apply to characters, Trying to apply any medication from M10 to another character will only apply it to yourself, you will end up killing your own character, until this has been updated only apply meds to your own character
Tried it out with dugong but it doesn't seem to work.
Disregarded compatability patches (those aren't content mods on their own), obvious jokes and mods that has no weeb content, but just use pictures (like subs with animu girl next to it on pic).
Out of 1800 (60pages x 30mods/page) mods updated after 25Feb I found 14 weeb content and 2 furry mods.
Oh no, the community has been infiltrated!
Bring me the flammenwerfer, Hanz!!
Time to burn the infection out!!!
(sarcasm btw, in case of autism)
You are overreacting mariotime.
Just chill and stop policing what other people (minority of community) enjoys.
Actually I did browse workshop recently (for my current SP playthrough- that ended today with 0.17.x unfortunatelly)
Sorted by Update date.
Went as far as 25Feb (when 0.16.x dropped)
Most of it was various submarines not weeb stuff
So maybe it is YOU who should check workshop and get perspective closer to reality?
Just because you see 5-6 weeb mods (out of hundreds), doesn't mean there is "cancer" that needs to be rooted out.
I wasn't referring to you, but rather the weeb sub-community at large, who I would assume a large portion of hardly play the game. However, this is one of my weaker points, and so, if it's the only one you can muster a response to, that's rather disappointing.
"Don't like it, don't use it" died the moment Valve added ratings to the workshop. And that rating system usually works, except for when a large community of people who barely play the game try to hijack its workshop.
"Don't like it, don't use it" doesn't apply to the Steam Workshop, due to how sorting works. It shows higher rated mods first, and if weebs storm the workshop and rate everything with "haha big titty" positively, it leaves the actual playerbase with a desolate wasteland of a workshop to work with. Checked the workshop lately? Filled to the brim with abominations like this, created by weebs with no idea what game they're even making the mod for. Trying to find a good mod in this workshop nowadays is like trying to find a diamond in the sewage system. Damn near impossible. Is it too much to ask for people to stop pumping out this generic, redundant crap, so we can search for the mods that actually deserve the popularity?
This whole discussion is absurd in the first place.
What happened to "don't like it? don't use it" approach
Strange people who feel totalitarian necessity to police actions of other people.
People they will never meet, or play with most likely, I may add.
@mariotime1287 Don't understand the seething, mod is optional and no one forces u to download it, unless you're here for attention only. Besides claiming certain content creators to be danger to community sounds pretty threatening
I think I will stay mad. There are so many mods more deserving of high ratings on this workshop, and yet "haha anime boobies" is still so incredibly popular. The anime community can't keep their grubby hands off of anything, and their atrocious, uninspired "artstyle", that hyper-sexualizes women, follows them wherever they choose to go.
I think it's rightful to be mad that garbage like this. This was made entirely unironically, and yet also destroys the game's artystyle, and carefully crafted game balance. If you're so sheltered that you can't handle the fact that this game depicts women with any semblance of modesty, and has actual difficulty, then you're playing the wrong game. A gritty submarine simulator is not somewhere that your kind belongs in, nor is it somewhere that your kind is welcome.
i like boob in suit but this is odd
Pizzazz is defined as "an attractive combination of vitality and glamour." I don't see how any of these are vitally important additions to the balance of Barotrauma. I don't see how any of this is glamorous, other than "haha funny booba". This isn't "pizzazz". This is a mod that destroys the artistic integrity of the game, stripping it of its identity and design philosophy.
Wasn't expecting to see a new suit bundled into it, too. Loving the anti-sub rifle.
Oh, and as some others have said, male versions of the female-only suits would be greatly appreciated. Gotta get some love for our boys on the crew, too.
That aside, I really don't mind the curvy nature of these outfits. Just adds an extra bit of pizzazz to our repertoire of modded gear, I feel. Keep up the great work!
