Sadly it did not work for me: made alliances with several factions in the upper power ranks to test it out and they all got wrecked within 6-23 turns. Could just be dumb luck :steamsad:, anywho, I tested it with other mods deactivated just to be safe.

It is nice not to have allies wiped out easily cuz you want to build to use their alliance units.

When you are in a alliance with a faction they get a debuff to auto resolve. I don't know how it works but according to multiple people online that's how it works. Legend of total war even said it in his live stream yesterday.

It works in my experience, playing as Ogres. Need to test further.

in a perfect world (and what I emulated in WHII using mods) was hostile factions get buffs but those buffs do not apply against factions that are in an alliance with the player. So you have stronger enemies overall but don't have useless allies.
