Try entering "sv_skyname ###" into the console where ### is the name of a skybox. I think outside Gmod you need to refresh the map, though?

I'm not a mapper, I don't know how to do that. Could you maybe just insert a real skybox for a hl2 version please?

Oh, I know why. You're playing it in HL2 and that doesn't have the "painted" skybox. You could try go into Gmod's files and drag and drop the skybox texture to HL2 although I'm not exactly sure if that would work. Make sure the file paths for the skybox match Gmod.

Hmm well, when I'm on the map the whole sky is blurred and everything can be seen 10-100 times.

It is very blurred

The edited values for the sky colors are:
Sky Top Color: 0 0.75 1.0
Sky Bottom Color: 0.26 0.95 0.98
Dusk Scale: 1.5
Dusk Color: 1.000 1.000 1.000

The sky isn't custom, it's called "painted." It's the sky that allows you to change the colors of it via the Sky Editor entity or inside of Hammer.

Ok I managed to do that as I already wrote on gamebanana.

The only problem is that apparently the skymap was forgotten to be packed into the map.

Unsub to this addon, and open Gmod. Then resub to this addon. Go to the Steam directory where Gmod is located, then go to steamapps>workshop>content>4000, sort by most recent and open the folder at the top. You'll notice there's a .gma file in it. Go to your GarrysMod folder, then bin, then drag the .gma into gmad.exe to get the .bsp. Please do NOT repost this addon on any other site without my permission.

Optimize the jump as much as possible by using the corners of the pillars.

The Phoenix Egg is borderline impossible for me, the pillars on the lava lake are too high to jump on. How do I go up the pillars if they're too high?

restarted the map and i was able to get it. dunno what was up last time, but we're good now.

Could be that it was next to a cliffside and you were at the bottom portion and the egg was on the top.

I can hear it just fine (one of my headphones is blown out though which doesn't help), but the egg simply wasn't near the sound. Maybe I was just looking wrong or something, I'll give it another go.

Yes it would've, because the map is far too small for running. You'd be able to cross the entire map in 15 seconds with running.

Would it have killed you to implement running?

2013 is my favorite out of the ones I've played. Tried to recreate the feelings I felt all those years ago as best I could. Thank you for playing it.
