New ability for human coach to turn into a barricade. Greater reach for ranchers and huntsmen. Dvarik are now immune to burning effect and their tower throws fire projectile. New magic acorn ability for Redwood. Supervision moved from weasel knights to Master owl. Greatly reduced resource generation of Goblin dispensers.

Did you activate the addon? I tested on my side with all addons and it works fine. Did the base mod updated? Try unsubscribed and subscribe again.

why do the goblins not show up at the start of the game at the great emerald?

It should work just fine. But but both addon requires the main mod.
