well you can try my first version where the bots will never pick SMGs but when they die, they'll respawn with either 3 of the smgs, this usually happens when you revive them via revive rooms, not via the defib. You can also give the bots the gun using commands

This causes a funny bug with the bots. I assume they pick an SMG thinking it's a primary, but since it's a secondary, they drop their pistol or melee weapon.
This causes them to pick up the modded secondary and the vanilla secondary endlessly. If they are close together, they'll be basically playing Hot Potato with the weapons lmao

They are not permanently stuck doing this, but they do tend to get far behind you, especially while leaving safe rooms as they get easily distracted with the weapons.

im the one who's hosting, and i did checked, im unsure if is the mod or left 4 dead itself who became a glitchy mess after all

then check again if you have any other mod conflicts, cuz it still works well for me here ;-; and also, local server but the person who hosts MUST have this mod installed too, otherwise it won't just work

well make sure you play on local server, cuz any dedicated servers will break the mod

well i reinstaled yesterday l4d it worked okay, but after some plays with a friend it stopped working, either l4d is broken or idk, maybe TLS people screwed something up

@BIGDIKDIDDLY you want a Cod Like weapon system? be able to carry 2 primaries no matter what tier they are like the traditional Rifle + pistol/Rifle/Sniper?

no what i mean is that i want any weapon available for any slot i want to be able to run any secondary as my primary and or any primary or special as my secondary. idk how else to explain basicly mix and match all weapon types with each slot not hold everything at once but anything at choice

I like this mod because it makes my advanced and expert solo playthroughs more fun. If only there was a mod where you could hold any weapon in any slot..

No, I meant i turned off all the mods except that one, i have a mod like this one for the CS MP5 that works fine, idk why its specifically this mod

Yeah, it doesnt say anything was conflicting and and i turned off all mods ans it still didnt work, so my shit must be busted unfortunate

So I tested the mod, and it all worked so well. Then, I guess there must be something wrong with your game. Learning about how scripts work, will ya?

Yeah still doesn't work, when i pick up a primary with it in hand it just drops it and gives me back the secondary i had before

yeah, works online too, and if you're the host and have this mod activated, your friends will be the same. Just not sure if it works well in dedicated server, but I'm 1000% sure in local server.

Then check again if you have another Mac 10 script or not since each guns can only use 1 script

Well that’s a reason, a weapon mod can only uses 1 script only, so if you wish to use it as secondary gun, you gotta forget and delete that damage and buff script. Even if you play in singleplayer, the rule is still the same

the only script i have for it a damage and magazine Buff Script, but don't worry i only play singleplayer, i'm not much of a multiplayer guy when it comes to this game

just only the mac 10 goes to secondary, and also check that if your mac 10 mod has a script with it or not.

how exactly does it work? whenever i equip the Weapon it goes on the Primary slot, not the sidearm..
