The defensive exo frame does not stop ranged weapons from being used, make sure you're not wearing an actual shield belt alongside it
main difference is that, while still ending up looping, the hair stays the same instead of changing every time the progress bar fills.
i assume it has something to do with the hair/race mods i use. im not happy about it but i just end up building styling stations to change something if i need to then just get rid of it after.
that being said if anyone *does* know a work around...
tldr; Hair are stupid.
So... if they are changing off what you want just adjust the ideology to allow the hair you want?
