@Snyvan That's default AI behaviour, aware automatically switches to combat if the AI is in contact with the enemy. They must have some awareness of some enemy somewhere to not go back in "aware" state.

I'll start by saying thanks for the awesome mod! Has anyone ran into an issue with Spark teams AI behavior? It seems like whenever I try to order new behavior to aware in platoon command, they switch back to combat behavior which forces them into a slow bound to the waypoint. They are not under fire and the nearest enemy AI is 1km out with seemingly no awareness to our presence. It's probably just hard coded arma ai derpiness from bohemia but I was wondering if anyone else found any workarounds or solutions?

I apologize, it's not "Command Unit" It's Switch to Unit "X". Where X is whatever unit you have selected. I was able to achieve this for myself by just adding "Playable" to whatever units I spawned in the eden editor. I don't know how you have this wonderful scenario setup but it would be awesome to be able to do this for myself in singleplayer.

Next time you select one individual unit, see the greyed out "Command Unit" option? I forget what function or tick box is needed, maybe just a simple "playable tick?" But in the scenarios I've used that I've seen it in, it allows you to temporarily "possess" your squad mate. So you can use their kit or whatever they're carrying. In my use-case it's great when I want someone else to run explosives for sabotage or AT and I want to use those items myself by swapping to them then swapping back to my "player character" or squad lead. You can see my screenshot for added context to what I'm talking about!

I wonder if there would be any funcutional way to implement unit command / command unit in singleplayer. Would make this 100% the best dynamic singleplayer scenario if I could. But have been playing with it for a few weeks and it's fantastic.

Lambs and Real Engine seem to work real well with this mod, loving this scenario. We've played as a group in my community and have loved it everytime.

@KingN I have a bit of experience when it comes to the frustration of the arma ai all be it nothing to the scale of a scenario like this sop I can only imagine how many sleepless nights have gone by lmao but I'll be sure to let ya know if I notice anything else in the future and do my best to bug test my own mod list lol.

@howitzerjunkie928 Thanks for reporting back. This does sound like a mod issue since I haven't experienced this at all, ever. I've pulled my hair over weird AI behavior during making this mission more than I'd like to admit and I wouldn't be surprised if the culprit was as simple thing as an animation mod. Let me know if you run into the glitch without other mods.

@KingN I may have found the culprit but I'm not sure, it occurred to me I've seen ai do this before in particular I play the halo mod and Webknights custom units if placed in a vehicle will cause it to do this exact thing, and while I don't have that mod I do have some of his animation mods, I'm still pretty sure they shouldn't be causing issues like this but I disabled them and ran about 50 tests over the weekend and couldn't recreate the glitch, I reenabled them and the glitch popped up only once in another 50'ish tests, now that could just be a coincidence and is not happening regularly enough that I would say its for sure his mods but maybe its just making the AI get mega confused about something?

@howitzerjunkie928 Yeah it's very odd, I'm interested also because a couple other users where reporting similar behaviour but it's more random. I looked at the code and there's not much else than adding waypoints to the heli pilot group. I can't wrap my head around why it's behaving OK in my end and always had, this shouldn't be a system dependent issue. Please double check that you're not using any unneeded mods. You could also try if you're experiencing the same in SP so it's not MP related.

@KingN Yup you got it exactly how it had happened when we tried it I'm not sure why it only happened to us then if your not able to replicate it, if it happens again I'll at least see if I can get a clip or screenshots of it but maybe it was just a 1 off arma being arma moment?

@howitzerjunkie928 OK so not dedicated which is a separate server where all the players join as clients. I tried two times hosting a game and couldn't reproduce the problem, takistan/US and used MH-60S. I've never experienced such a thing and I've played SP and MP, both hosted and dedicated. So this was insertion at base, you boarded the helicopter and it took off the ground but didn't head to the insertion point?

@upside I've used LAMBS danger without problems but the enemy does tend to send a lot of reinforcements if you keep the radio communications on in the mod settings. Haven't tried real engine.

@KingN uhhhh the lobby was being hosted from my PC, it was not running from a server. Sorry I'm a bit dense when it comes to understanding what is dedicated hosting or what is not XD

@KingN it was with just CUP no RHS in a multiplayer mission, the first was a mission where we were only able to deploy coyote and tried to take a little bird and the 2nd was with both squads trying to take the Seahawk.

@howitzerjunkie928 Is this CUP or CUP+RHS? SP or MP? Tried myself 4 or 5 times and insertion and extraction worked fine for helicopters. Haven't experienced this problem myself in the past.

Hey there, not sure what might be causing this issue but when I attempt to use any of the helicopters once all players and NPC's are loaded inside they start to just slowly ascended and never fly to the actual destination. I had tried restarting our game, removing vcom (which had been on during the first instance of the glitch) and then removing all mods accept for what was needed. Nothing worked, the choppers just always seemed to float upward but can still preform an EVAC perfectly fine.

@Captain Kebbles This has been a reported problem for a long time. The reason is apparently an AI glitch which sometimes prevents AI from firing despite all conditions for firing are met. Some artillery types are more prone to fail than other. Nothing that I can do to this.

@BERRYBOMBS OK, good to hear you got it to work. By loading all the RHS mods listed in the description all weapons and most vehicles used in the mission are replaced by RHS counterparts. Try and see if that's what you're looking for.

Update, got them finally working and was able to add in a virtual arsenal, nothing wrong with the mod, just not a fan of CUP weapons and sights is all. But I thought in the description you could have different units as long as they're from the RHS pack so instead of marine raiders I could have just normal US Army soldiers, or maybe I misinterpreted that

@KingN got it. For the issue with the A.I not loading into the helos/ vics it wont even give me the option to tell them to load in and when I myself get in like I said they just end up running the opposite direction. I'm sure its something on my end since clearly other people aren't having the issue so i'll try a few things out

@BERRYBOMBS The factions and loadouts are premade, they are not loaded from mods. About the insertion, do you mean the AI lead squad doesn't board up? That could be some bug. You need to order your own squad to get in.

So maybe i'm dumb (entirely possible) but how do I load in more factions using RHS? also is there a way to use different weapons? as im not particuarly a fan of the CUP weapons and have my own weapons pack already downloaded. Also one last thing when im using the helo or ground insert im the only one that hops in, the rest of my platoon just run around or away from the vehicle. Anyways very awesome mod from what i've seen of it but was just asking for more clarification. Thank you.

@Knut Chudney Glad you like it! I have no plans to add british, though I like the idea of having SAS faction accompanied by british voices. You are correct about the intel, markers with "Intel" have a chance of spawning an intel briefcase. But be aware that the intel marker posision have a random offset so it might not be at the exact position it's showing. Also you may run into positions that have intel but they are not shown on map. The markers on map are simulating intel reports and intel is not 100% accurate.

KingN got a couple things I want to quickly drop. First love the missions and loved the original back in Arma 2. Thank you for coming back and updating with even more content and updates! This mission and missions are my go to for arma everytime.

Second, if you get frisky, It'd be awesome to see some BAF scenarios

Third, every time I attempt to gather some intel on the intel map markers I come up empty handed, is it a percentage chance of there being intel or am I just doing something wrong?

@Pvt. Barry [MM] Not experiencing such problem myself. You need to have a vehicle selected for your group and the insertion point picked. If you have Jackal group with you, you need to have those two selected for that group too PLUS the stand-by point. When you have these things in order, the start button lights up.

Looks great! On SP mode, when I am in the mission planned for the first mission, the "accept mission plan" is greyed out. I think I have all of the parameters set up, can't seem to get started.

@SolidSnack You will respawn for the next mission in multiplayer. If you die you will enter a spectator mode for the rest of the mission. Unless you are revived by mates if revival is enabled.

Really nicely done, almost look like a BIS official mission! but quick question, is that normal that there is no respawn in coop ? Or it's just a bug?
