It's not replaced by a new hat; only the pirate hat is gone and the head looks like it has a hole in it.help me plz

@Type Eat Shit: Sorry but I am not taking requests. Also, there are no dual pistol animations for ogres. But I can tell you that I am currently working on a new mod including some ogre units, so that could be to your liking once I release it.

Quick update, I did some playing around. Put this all the way at the top of the load order above dismemberment and Storeslem's mods and it surprised me by actually seeming to work as I hoped, with the exception that the pistol and greatweapon maneaters don't overwrite Storeslem's for some reason.

@Price: Actually I have to say I quite enjoy the vanilla Irongut look. Also, real life keeps me quite busy and that little bit of time that I have for modding, I rather spend on my orcs. ;)

@Price: I just checked ingame and the mod works as intended. Did you make sure to activate it again in the launcher? Due to the DLC release all mods were deactivated. Or do you maybe have another reskin mod activated which could cause conflicts?

my ogres don't look as advertised.. not sure why. They just look normal but their tricorns are missing and some are missing the top of their skulls

@ASTARTIS: I took a look at Storeslem's reskin mod. Sadly, I see no easy way to make both mods compatible without making a completely new mod itself. I am not really a fan of that idea to create a new mod with the works of two different authors. Also, I am quite occupied with other stuff - real life as well as modding, since people took interested in my Greenskin works (despite the fact that I wanted to take a small break from modding again).

Hey Frob,

I believe you have the best man eaters interpretation.

Would you be opposed to making this compatible with Storeslem's Ogre Reskin mod ? I would love to utilize his mod but have your armoured man eaters presentation be used instead of knightly feathered hat style.

The mod creator gave permission which you can see in latest comment of the mod's comment section.

You could try and use RPFM to merge some mods together till you reach the limit again.
Its really not hard to learn just a bunch of copy and paste

I believe the mod limit right now is exactly 166. I hope they increase it in the future. My library of mods I want to run is over 200 at the moment, and I am still hoping for at least another 100 still to be ported from WH2.

Oh I see, I think I remember it was around 40-50 but maybe that was for older games (like Rome II etc)? Still a lot of mods now that I think about it! :D

@Drenghi: Isn't the limit somewhere by 150 - 250? :D How can someone add so many mods to TW Warhammer? Anyways, currently I take a break from modding. Maybe in the future I will create such a compilation.

@Drenghi: I was already thinking about it even though I am not a big fan of 'reuploading' such stuff. It is easier to manage small mods and it enables the users to choose what they want to use. May I ask why such a compilation would be of interest for you? Is it because of the mod limit?

You think you could merge this mod with the other ogres' mods? Like the tyrants and goldtooth ones? So we can have everything in one file instead of downloading separate mods

@Z-Bane: Yes, I am aware of this 'issue'. The game reduces the model quality when you increase the distance to the respective unit. All models have 4 different LODs with a decreasing quality, so that the performance ingame is better. And as you pointed it already out, the vanilla model has the same issue. Actually, this is the vanilla body. But when only using LOD 1, this is way more demanding for the performance and sometimes also causes weird visual glitches. So, I decided to still use the other LODs as well, even when they look weird from certain distances. ;)

Hello I have a graphic glitch on the back of the Ogre Maneaters (In vanilla it is also present, but not so much noticeable). Through the vest you can always see the skin of the ogres (zoom in and out).

@MuffinTop: No, not at the moment. New units always need compatibility mods to be used with bigger overhauls like SFO or Radious. And speaking of it, I think Radious features lots of iron skin ogres, partly based on my meshes (they asked me back than if they can use them).

imo the 'pirate' themed version should be used for an ROR or something - because this looks way more fitting for a 'generic' version of this unit
