Hello! Amazing mod, and i know this is meant for 1.15 version, but i played on 1.16.5 version and works for 90%. The only problem is that the mills section is empty in the research tree and there is no nuclear reactor section in research (this may be because of some other mod idk.). Anyways awesome mod and I'll wait for the 1.16 update if it ever comes out!

Hey, seems that this mod disables some techs, specifically the transport planes. Which isnt that important but i wanted to do some paratroopers and discovered i couldnt get better transport planes. I've checked through the other mods, its this one that is causing the issue.

@holden wow, hell of a coincidence. I just installed the naval reworked mod and was bummed out that it wasn't compatible with this. thanks a lot, it worked perfectly!

For those wishing to use this with the road to 56 patch for vanilla navy rework I found a way you can do it manually but I would like to note this will require basically gutting mod files manually and smacking shit together with no idea how it works considering I am not a programmer and I found this out through guesswork and brute force so do at your own risk this could break stuff but from a short test everything seems to be working fine.

In the paradox mod launcher go into your play set, press the 3 dots right next to both the VNR rt56 patch and this mod and open the mod folders. In the IE folder there should be a subfolder named interface, with a text document inside labeled "countrytechtreeview" click on it and you're going to want to control f search the word "industry" until you find the line of text containerWindowType = { name = "industry_folder"

-you are going to want to highlight from there all the way down to alwaystransparent = yes right above another container window type that is labeled secret weapons folder with two spaced } symbols separating them. Then copy all you have highlighted and head over to the rt56 VNR patch's folder and select the same countrytechtreeview text file in the interface folder.

Once you are there you are going to want to do the same process of control f searching for industry and finding the same containerWindowType = { name = "industry_folder" and highlighting down until you hit the two spaced } right above the secret weapons folder text again. Once you've done this, delete all highlighted text and you should be left with an empty space with the two spaced } symbols on both sides. Now that you've done this the final step is to just paste all the text you copied from the other text file and save, and once you boot up the game the chromium/tungsten extractor techs should be there like usual.

I solved the transporter bug by changing "bba_early_transport_plane_tree" to "bba_improved_transport_plane_tree" in 'countrytechtreeview.gui' in the interface folder. :)

So I thought the factories didn't work anymore but it turns out they're actually invisible when combined with discardian rp for some reason. I thought they were just gone but I think it still works for anyone else potentially having this issue.

Hi! I have a compatibility issue with the mod "[RT56] BBA Aircraft Overhaul" once activated this mod, it disables some builds of the mod mentioned above. Is it possible to fix it? Thanks!

Hi, the update should be up now. Sorry for the delays, IRL stuff got in the way. Please let me know if anything is broken - test the mod with only Rt56 active to ensure it's not a compatibility issue with other mods if so.

Progress update - I've updated the vanilla version, it's just this one that needs doing now. I can make use of a lot of the files from the vanilla mod for this version, so it shouldn't be much longer.

@CompMakarov I take that into account with this mod so I doubt it's that, more likely it's the fact that technologies and the state/construction windows have changed a lot this patch. Sometimes you can get away with just running an old version of the mod and it will work - that was never going to be the case with the amount of changes PDX made this time around, unfortunately.

I suspect the reason this mod breaks is either R56 or the new DLC seems to have added resources generating buildings (steel and aluminium plants), which this mod also adds.

DO NOT USE THIS MOD UNTIL IT IS FIXED. I have painstakingly troubleshooted my mod list to find out this guy is the culprit in causing crashes with the new DLC.

I do want to add that I suspect there's some confusion in the game with the new special projects buildings. When I was playing with the vanilla version of the mod, the special project facilities were using the icons for steel mill, other mills, industrial expansion. The facilities worked fine, but it was impossible to build any mills (only the steel/Al extractors), and as mentioned before, the industrial expansions were not adding build slots.

The vanilla version of the mod was running with '56, but even though I could build industrial expansions, they were not increasing build slots (even though they had before the latest DLC). I downloaded this version of the mod, and it causes a game crash when loading in the country at the start of the game (ie. go through main menu, choose game rules, click america, loading, at the moment you would be in game, it crashes.)
I went through all mods, 1 by 1 as well as in combos, and this is the one crashing it. That goes for this mod used with '56 and no other mods. I can't remember what the error code was, since it happened late at night.

Hi I'm having a problem with the mod, the searches for tungsten and chromium basically I can't find the searches, I tried checking the game rules and focus trees, have others had problems?

this mod makes the building cost of refinery doubled up, as you know, RT56 makes the cost of refinery halved. I know this is very trivial but I want you to fix this. thx
