If you update to 1.6 will you be ditching hugslib like most other mods have?
Quarter One 11 Jul @ 9:07am

Kathanon  [author] 29 Jun @ 2:09am
Oh so it was only dye that was moved to base game? My bad. Sorry, then the answer is no, there isn't.
skinnylesgs 29 Jun @ 12:53am
oh wait, do you mean its available in the 1.6 base game?
skinnylesgs 29 Jun @ 12:52am
theres no styling station tho
Kathanon  [author] 28 Jun @ 11:49pm
Just use the styling station as usual. I believe it no longer requires Ideology.
skinnylesgs 28 Jun @ 11:45pm
can i recolor after an item is crafted?
williamb1995 21 Jun @ 8:13am

Heya, the mod Dubs mint menus (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1446523594) doesn't seem to copy bills that use color/style correctly. When trying to paste copied bills, it will skip every bill that uses dye to craft. I'll be reporting this bug on Dubs' mod as well, but in case there's something on your end to fix it, I thought you should know as well!
Log of the save file where the issue occured in case it helps:

This mod is really useful. Thanks for making this!
Kathanon  [author] 26 Apr @ 6:17pm
Possible? Probably. Feasible? No.
TheEpicTroll 26 Apr @ 3:00pm
would it be possible to add a retexture option, like making a camo jacket?
The Blind One 31 Mar @ 4:42pm
Roger that, thanks, I've switched to the original, my bad man, it works perfectly now 🥰

(I've found another mod for the default radius to fix that 😆)
Kathanon  [author] 31 Mar @ 2:45pm
It interfaces correctly with the regular BWM mod (at least last I checked), I am not aware of a new temp version popping up. What is the issue with the original?
The Blind One 31 Mar @ 2:23pm
Kathanon, do you use Better Workbench Management? (specifically I'm using the temp right now, not sure if its also on the main mod but the temp had extra features added by the guy who forked it)

It has 2 functions that don't properly interact with this mod and I'm not sure if I need to ask here or there but;

1. The UI for coloring / styling an item overlaps with the UI button for 'count additional items'. Now luckily it doesn't break it but it's making it look less organized and neat

2. The better workbench management mod has a functionality that allows you to link multiple workbench bills together but they don't transfer the settings for coloring. Not the worst but would be nice if it could be added.
The Blind One 27 Mar @ 6:03am
@Kathanon

Oh it doesn't bother me, I just realized it when I started making Devilstrand Dusters and shortly before it was finished I realized I had forgotten to set it to be dyed, so I just ticked it on the bill, expecting it wouldn't work for the item that was already being produced and then watched the unfinished undyed duster turn into the correct color upon finish anyway 🤔😂:cozybethesda:

Every duster after that they properly went to get dyes for it. I perfectly understand that 'fixing' something like that would require more (possibly bloat) code which I can understand might not be something you're even interested in doing, it's such a minor thing as well. I just thought I'd mention it in case you 'did' want to fix that or if it was an oversight / incorrect code working on your end.

I'm happy with the mod either way. Thanks for this mod brother <3
Kathanon  [author] 26 Mar @ 7:36pm
I was planning to add a mechanic where you pay one dye to switch colors mid-craft, but haven't gotten around to it (it's a bit tricky). If it bothers you, you can turn off the ability to change color after the craft has started in the settings.
The Blind One 26 Mar @ 3:07pm
Apparently if you start making an item, then decide you want to color it shortly before it is finished, you get to color it without using any dye.

Not the biggest problem but I thought it was an interesting bug.
Bitterholz 7 Feb @ 6:33am
Whats the problem eith Hugsblib?
Arky 23 Jan @ 1:53pm
Oh no... Hugslibs
OffYourTopic 6 Jan @ 1:36pm
Dreaming of the day I can use this without needing Hugslib
Kathanon  [author] 9 Dec, 2024 @ 3:53pm
Since "More Colors" is not compatible with RimWorld 1.5, I've assumed you meant "Simply More Colors". It changes the apparel colors tab in a way that overrides all other mods. That disables my changes.
Kathanon  [author] 9 Dec, 2024 @ 7:43am
It sounds like that could be an incompatibility with the More Colors mod. I'll see what I can find out.
bziembicki 9 Dec, 2024 @ 6:28am
"Also lets you use any color in the styling station, not just the standard ones."

I have problem with this. I only see edit in Hair tab, for cloths I can only use standrad colors and those from More colors mod
basedleua 11 Jul, 2024 @ 9:28am
Finally i can make my colonists look like royality
Ythenius 23 Apr, 2024 @ 6:13am
Exactly what I was looking for :D Thanks alot
BlueTressym 12 Apr, 2024 @ 9:32pm
I love the style setting
Kathanon  [author] 10 Apr, 2024 @ 6:55pm
It's coming. Little busy with 1.5 right now. :)
lloki 8 Apr, 2024 @ 2:37pm
Thanks for the update! Still hugslib dependency I see... this mod have been updated recently, but it's still not really stable. Author is also not really around. Are you sure you couldn't think about the workaround?
Kazzerk 8 Apr, 2024 @ 2:37pm
ty for the update :)
Kathanon  [author] 8 Apr, 2024 @ 2:24pm
Updated for RimWorld 1.5.
Kathanon  [author] 7 Apr, 2024 @ 7:36am
Don't worry, it's already done. Just haven't uploaded it yet.
Kazzerk 7 Apr, 2024 @ 4:15am
Hope we get an update for 1.5, this mod is essential for me, playing with styles is a pain in the ass without this mod :(
KawwaK 7 Apr, 2024 @ 4:04am
How is this not vanilla?
Captain 22 Feb, 2024 @ 12:46pm
is hugslib a dependency still? It looked like maybe it's option as of a couple pages back but I couldn't really tell. I'm trying to remove hugslib and all dependent mods from my list
Kathanon  [author] 9 Dec, 2023 @ 1:47pm
No problem. Please do let me know if it happens again.
Kelowna 9 Dec, 2023 @ 12:45pm
I enabled the mod and the problem did not appear again. From what I can remember of this happening to me months prior, I got no errors from this of any kind. My memory has never been the best so I could be wrong.

My apologies I could not be more useful in figuring this out. If the problem occurs again I will check again for errors and let you know.
Kathanon  [author] 9 Dec, 2023 @ 12:04pm
I don't recognize the problem. Could you activate dev mode and see if you get any red lines in the log when it happens?
Kelowna 9 Dec, 2023 @ 12:02pm
I believe your mod is causing an issue with my game. My pawns will ignore unfinished items. I am making a bunch of marine armor and my pawns will stop part way through crafting it and then begin gathering materials to make another of the exact same item, all while the partly finished armor is right next to their fabrication bench. I disabled your mod and it fixed the issue.

Has this happened before? If you want any other info let me know. Regardless, you have my thanks for making this. Morbid marine helmets look fantastic but morbid charge lances (among other weapons) don't look good to my eyes, so being able to change that, "to have my cake and eat it to" so to speak was a blessing.
Deagroth 9 Dec, 2023 @ 2:37am
That's really good to know, thank you for the info and the extra mod!
Kathanon  [author] 8 Dec, 2023 @ 11:00pm
I've looked at it now, and the reason is that the menu contains the colors that members of the ideo will get a mood buff from ("Wearing ideoligion color"). For bright colors, that is the same as the symbol color, but for darker or less saturated ones, it is a lightened version. It is the same colors you would get if you went to the styling station and clicked "Set ideo color".

While I could populate the menu with the symbol colors, that seems much less useful than the apparel colors.

I made a mod that fixes it by making the ideos use the same color for apparel and symbol: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3109270398
Kathanon  [author] 8 Dec, 2023 @ 3:29am
Ok, I see. I'll look into it.
Deagroth 7 Dec, 2023 @ 5:33pm
Oh no, I wasn't expecting a list of colors from the other mod. I was expecting the ideology colors to match, at least for my own ideology, but the color I picked and the color this shows for my ideology aren't the same.
Kathanon  [author] 7 Dec, 2023 @ 9:47am
Were you expecting a list of all the colors added by that mod? That is not what that sub-menu does. It contains all of the ideoligions present in your world, with their respective colors. Most of them will be the auto-generated ones, with the default colors.
Deagroth 6 Dec, 2023 @ 11:25am
Yes, that's the issue.
Kathanon  [author] 6 Dec, 2023 @ 4:20am
Is the issue that the "Ideoligion" sub-menu contains the wrong colors?
