Because it's the model from the early Half Life Gold Src intro, not the pre-rendered image intro from old Source Engine games

I remember seeing Mr.Valve a long time ago as an intro to a source game (As a picture with the valve in his eye, not the 3d intro one). I don't remember which one it was though. I think it may have been either the HL2 Demo or Portal, the first slice. I'm certain it wasn't anything on goldsource

@ Neotauk1998 Mr.Valves model was made by valve in goldsource. He ripped the textures off mr.valve and put it on his model. Its from half life 1 beta when it was in E3 in a techdemo And in the First half life copy.

Greg Coomer , Steve theodore, and Doug wood Helped make the tech demo back then. its the first valve logo

2 Things:

1. I have seen the original intro, but where EXACTLY did you rip this model from? (I'm assuming the Alpha version of Half-Life 1)

2. Mr. Valve looks an awful lot like The Hidden from The Hidden: Source.
