To all the requests for children's shoes, I'll go into a little more detail here. As stated in the description, I originally made this as something of an expansion of Vanilla Expanded's Apparel mod, as they added industrial tech shoes and gloves but nothing tribal. The VE team hasn't added kids' shoes to their mods and adding them to this one would make for games where there were tribal tech shoes for kids but not industrial tech shoes for kids. That would bother me.
But more importantly, I did not make the art for this mod and kid's shoes would require new art. If you are good with vector drawing and you just really want your RimKids to wear cute little moccasins, message me and maybe we can talk adding them in.
Could you make them wearable for kids aswell? Hope that doesn't take too much work :D
And thanks for the note! I'm still humbled by how many people use and enjoy this mod!
Btw, I've made several sandals for my colony, but pawns never get sandals on themselves, only if I say them to. What can be the reason? I have like 300 mods though :) But not the Vanilla Apparel Expanded.
I will probably just leave the mod as is, but I'm glad you have tweaked it to suit your tastes for your game!
I like having a shoe option that requires totally different material requirements than the other ones. It would feel a little broken to not have cloth as a requirement for the wooden sandals (too easy to make!) especially since these don't require any research.
Maybe you or someone else could add a "classical" level Roman-inspired sandal, made of leather with a research requirement. I've seen other people wish there was something like that out there.
I'm glad you're enjoying the mod though!
